I guarantee it gets better reviews and makes more than Spider-man. If that's the bar, we've got a winner on our hands for sure.
I didn't like it at first, but it's really grown on me. The whole costume as a whole sells it for me for some reason. And his eyes...
Still looks better than the comic book or B&R variant.

I think "The Fire Rises" would have been a better title honestly.
I'm not questioning the movie, since I haven't seen it, but you guys are calling out on people who said Bane's mask/costume looks dumb. And it does.
Would it look bad in the movie - maybe not if it has a proper context. But you can only gauge that once you've seen the movie. I don't see why so many of you are so desperate at serving a pre-emptive crow...

I get it now, there is some comment of you laughing at Bane's look somewhere.
The Batman outfit looks dumb, it always has, but you never completely see it because it is shrouded in darkness most of the time and Batman is always in motion. Which is why it works.
...and thats my point. I made that judgement after watching the movie. As it is Bane costume/mask still looks dumb, it could work (given conext), but I'd have to see the movie first before calling it.

Don't see anything wrong with the Joker bomb scene. It only looks silly because i assume Nolan couldn't or didn't want to show a bunch of cops being crushed or something. The cop Joker held hostage was shown with Gordon at the end of the movie. So just proves that little something missing.
