I was just thinking about Batman 89, and the Keaton casting in retrospect was pretty crazy. Maybe I didn't realize it because I was a kid but Keaton was basically a fledgeling stand up comic turned quirky movie actor and somehow got the role. What would be the current equivalent of Keaton as Batman? It would have been like Nolan casting Sam Rockwell as Batman.

I'm pretty sure prior to the Dark Knight, people were suggesting he could channel Bateman.

You see the circle looking rings that line the strap on Bane's forehead? I think those motherfuckers are bolts, and they're screwed into his fucking SKULL dude. To have that removed will be extremely painful. Doesn't the original Bane have like a luchador sort of background? When a luchador's mask is removed they are defeated yeah? This should be a subtle nod to that. I think Bane's mask will be fucking pulled off one way or another at the end of this film, and I hope to see tubes and pipes and cured flesh and removed bolts and skull holes and more blood and mechanical guts and wires and shit. Yeah.
Tube in the mask or an intravenous drip would be my wagers.
