It is? I don't see it

It's not up yet, but look at the meter.

Marshall Fine

is the one who gave it a rotten.

"At times, the action is so massive and thunderously clunky that I might as well have been watching one of the Transformers movies."

For the IMAX stuff, I know that in Toronto you can reserve your seat when you buy the tickets online. Isn't that the same everywhere? I am trying to buy tickets around Chicago area for next week and I don't seem to get that option, taking me directly to the payment.

Is it first come first serve style?

I was able to see TDK on a real IMAX back when I was in Austin...it looks/sounds amazing, but the IMAX scenes in particular are just fuckin' incredible. And you lucky IMAX people get to see like, 72 minutes worth.

Fuck ya'll :(

I dont see it, still see 100

There isn't one, but there is a counter for one. So either something is up, or one is about to go up.

Not showing up here, clicked on All Critics. Still nothing. Weird.

Had to zoom out to fit it to on the screen, but here's every review I'm seeing at the moment:

EDIT: Just popped up. Still not on front page, but the score has updated.

See I don't care for rotten reviews because by the same token you get some over the top positive reviews, but seriously considering it to Transformers?

Then again Nolan does love him some Bay movies.

I guess that explains why Bay was invited to the Dark Knight prologue screening in December. :p

Kidding of course.

A Nolan film with Bay-esque action scenes would be the best thing ever!

edit: just imagine the amount of time Bay would spent to get the perfect Catwoman shot! I want a Nolan / Bay tag team.

There are few things more depressing in the entertainment medium then the overarching obsession over RT/Metacritic. It's like all the flaws in the rating/grading systems for reviews manipulated and gathered up for all the fanboys to argue with.

This bit in the rotten review made me laugh.

"There is very little about “The Dark Knight Rises” that will make you tense, hold you in suspense or cause your adrenaline to squirt"

Cutting in to the review discussion. Where can I find the complete track listing for the OST.
Track 1-15 is the standard release.
Track 18 is
The End

That's all I know. Help me fill in the blanks.

well I loved TDK as well but Batman Begins always packed the better emotional journey and all that. It was more meaningful.

I love a lot of TDK, just not all of it. The problem is that the things I don't like about it, I really don't like about it so it tends to sometimes overshadow the positive feelings I do have for it.

I do agree with the overall assessment that the first half of Begins is way better than its second half, but nonetheless that second half still doesn't bother me in ways that parts of TDK do.

None of which will mean anything to the target audience of Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises,” an audience too young to have been born, let alone old enough to read (or willing to read, for that matter), when the Bane storyline first surfaced in print.

Wait, what?

Wait, what?

That got me too. It's like he criticizes the entire audience of Nolan's Bat-films.

I read Batman comics. I have a pretty good collection of them. It's funny that I just never read Knightfall and he mentions that.

Got the tickets to the Swedish premiere in hand.

It's release date is the 25th.

So far away.

But, at least I got tickets (with the best seats) to the sneak-premier the 24th. Still so far away.

My prediction is that it'll have a higher RT score than Begins but a lower one than TDK. Probably somewhere around 90%.

Sounds like critics who only gave positive reviews to The Dark Knight for Heath's performance won't like this one as much.

A page ago some posters mentioned a Bale interview.

Where and when? It wasn't the Today Show this morning. Unless I was watching the wrong morning show.

And yeah from all his co stars everyone says he is hilarious but man is he serious and short with answers during interviews.

I would imagine the whole cast to be in NYC today for the premiere. I wanted to see Matt Lauer interview Bale again damnit!
