Dumb question but did the season 1 DVD box set come with a booklet with info on all the episodes like every other set after? Just opened mine for the first time in forever and it's missing. Going to have to grab another box set when they're on sale because this is going to bother the hell out of me now.
I want this. Season 1-21 box set. I could just cut the box in half and it will be perfect.

And I found seasons 1-13 great, 14-17 still good, 18-19 okay to bad, and 20-23 mostly just boring with 23 having some exceptions. I attribute the animation changes to the dip in quality too, and I think it was by season 14 or in 2002 or some episodes before their 300th that I really noticed the dip. But i'm a Simpsons enthusiast and although they're way past their prime, it'll feel weird not having them on air since I grew up with it. At this point, they should set an end date.... ending at 650-700 episodes just to beat Gunsmoke. Might as well.

The whole "Cheaters" bit was ass but the main story was good. Dial 'N' for Nerder is among best episodes of the new Simpsons.

If you look closely you can pinpoint the moment where it all turns bad. I guess the last acceptable episode in that season was The Joy of Sect.
