Saints will never be able to sign Butland nowIt'll be curious to see where he ends up. I'd love for City to sign him so he could study under Joe at club and country but he's obviously better off moving somewhere where he can develop into their #1 in a year or two.

I doubt we are actually after RVP and most of what Fergie says is bollocks anyway...but why not? Arsenal have sold to City so why not United (if the price is right obv). Heard so many Arsenal fans say never Unifed never ever...I don't get it, why?

So glad to finally have real football back, friendlies suck. Good game to open up the season too and a great goal to open up the season with. Slaven Bilic's Loko looks an awfully lot like the old Loko though, too bad for them.
I heard him say last season that he will leave once his contract runs out in two years. But that was last year, before they got a competent manager and champion's league football.

There was only one game today, Lokomotiv Moscow beat newly promoted Mordovia Saransk 3-2. I am indeed a Zenit fan, but we don't play until Sunday. We played last week though, in the Russian Supercup and lost to Rubin 2-0. Looked pretty poor too, I blame EUROs!

The problem with the MLS is I don't really have a team I cheer for and the couple Whitecaps games I've been to haven't been too exciting.
not as exciting as others make it out to be I guess..
anyways, brazil looked off today. Lacked any ideas to get goals in without resorting to free kicks and a PK. Also, GB is toothless in attack however Butland made some wonderful saves. Might be the one reason that keeps GB alive.
