What annoys me is that the game will be pulled but you will still have to log a complaint to get a refund.
Refunds should be issued automatically.

Or just do some research before you buy something and see who it's made by. Granted these scam apps shouldn't make it on the app store in the first place.

Terraria on a mobile device would consume my life, but I imagine it would be very hard to control with a touchscreen. You need mouse precision to carefully aim over the small blocks of material that you dig, smash and chop through. Even my dainty fingers would struggle with that.

Have you tried JunkJack?

Love me some Junk Jack! Perhaps not as deep as Terraria, but for an iOS game it kept me entertained for hours. Would definitely encourage you giving it a try...

Are you sure you're talking about the right game? It's free, not $4.99 and I haven't seen any ads.

Right. I'm talking about wanting to pay $4.99 for the uniform/ball/crowd unlocks, but won't if I get ads. I swear I just saw an ad for Slam Dunk King....

You did.

We usually tend to only push cross promotions into our paid games when a new game launches. We recently did one for TapDragonDrop going free, and there is one in all our other games right now promoting the free nature of Flick Kick Football.

The Slam Dunk King "ad" is set to only appear once if someone has played 3 or more times. Any such notice we push into our paid games is usually on the same setting. We are pushing Slam Dunk King because we want to capitalise on the FKF promotion which, hey, we are giving away for free when it is normally paid.

We try to keep the number of promos lite, and we have had zero complaints about those promos so far, but I certainly understand it might make someone hesitate or otherwise not invest in a title.

If you find the function of particular concern, I should warn that ALL our current and future games have this, so something to consider before picking up in the future.

I appreciate the candor. I really wish there was a way around this for paying customers. Granted, I haven't paid anything yet, but will :)

Here's a post by Vlambeer, talking about the music for their upcoming games, with the first Ridiculous Fishing info I've seen in a long, long time. Hope it comes out... soon. Someday. Before the end of the year.

Not iOS-related but Luftrausers is going to be so good.

Love both of the songs, particularly the Luftrausers. Speaking of which I'm excited for as I was addicted to the Flash game for awhile. Anyway, Ridiculous Fishing is one of my anticipated iOS games as well.

can anyone update or download apps from appstore?

everytime I try i get "cannot connect" and when I select try again it wants me to give the password again

-GameCenter (not a game, but may be somewhat related): A few days ago it stopped showing which game people on my friends list played last, showing instead "Never Played" under their names. Affected other people in the thread, seems to be fixed now.
Wow thanks for this. I had that "never played" issue for about two months and it is working fine again now.

I had that issue before try killing the app store from your multitask bar and then go into the device settings to store and sign out then sign back in.

Fur Fighters was a good game back in the day but i've read that this iOS port uses twin virtual sticks to move and aim, I just can't get along with those on a touch device and prefer swipe to look.

Nice, absolutely crazy to see Fur Fighters make its way to iPad. I thought that series would never see another release.

I picked up Fieldrunners 2 and Great Big War Game since I've been jonesing for strategy games; Fieldrunners is pretty good (bog standard tower defense, but that's exactly why I like it), but GBWG isn't really clicking for me. I'm still only a few missions in, but I feel like there's no actual strategy involved, and I just have to send waves of soldiers in clumps to take over enemy barracks.

What other strategy games (TBS or RTS) would people recommend? Ideally I'd like a good Advance Wars-ish game. I already have:

- Mecho Wars
- Hero Academy
- Outwitters
- Ravenmark
- Uniwar

Is anyone having issues with M.A.M.C crashing whenever you actually try to start a game?
Loads into the front menu, but then crashes when loading a game mode.

Summoner Wars deffo. You can join us in the various thread (iOS BG & SW tournament). There are about 20+ gaffers actively playing right now by my count.

A programmer from the studio said on Toucharcade that they are working on the control problem and will update the game soon.

They pulled and re-released new versions of Tetris, to add in a slew of IAP and optional subscription services :

They also had a Battlefield 3 title and a Simpsons game that were taken down following tons of gameplay or functionality complaints and have never been seen again.
Wait seriously, they pulled The Simpsons game? It's not even in my purchased history anymore. =/

By the way, what are some great games me and my girlfriend can play online against each other?

I already got Wordfeud and Carcassonne - cant remember the other got.

Got 5 Stars on Dungeon Village and I'm still addicted to it.. might quit when I get all levels max'd on my main hero. Going to check out the Osmos game next since they apparently released a retina version.

Hoping FF Dimensions comes out soon!
