Season Pass is basically a pre-order for the future X DLCs that will come out. Usually it costs 20 bucks (it's the case with Darksiders 2). By pre-ordering with THQ you'll get 20 bucks worth of upcoming DLC with no additional cost.

Welp, I finished DS1 a while ago but not all the achievements unlocked, like the one for finishing the game. Kinda tempted to run through it again plus I can get those unlocks for DS2 but apparently the achievement unlocks for the first game are buggy as hell.

Not too sure if I want to replay it now. I could always just use the achievement unlocker right?

Student, so I could save grants and stuff but it would take a while. Had a Athlon X2 7750 before, but then upgraded to Phenom 2 X4 955 3.2GHZ. That should be way enough for a while! Recently got another 2GB RAM too. Its really the GFX card thats 3.5 years old? now that might need replacing.

Sorry if this has already been answered, but can we expect more moves for Death's chaos form? In Darksiders 1 you basically only had a x-x-x combo, which was cool but grew stale pretty quick considering his form was so badass, and Death's looks even more badass.
 
tragic or hdn: How many lines of code is the final game? :) And what kind of programming environment and process do you use? Team size etc?

Depends. Personally I have 0 intrest in Madden/FIFA games, but if you regularly play with freinds then maybe.... I would go for Darksiders 2 though, but they are totally different games.

Also it feels like Madded just adds a new number on and updates the roster :P

There were big changes last year in Madden in how it played, and now it has a new physics system that looks bad ass. I am still very torn.
 
Aw man, I finished Darksiders 1 on my PS3, but I already pre-ordered DS2 on Steam.
Guess I won't have access to those items. :(
 
Patrick was really blown away with Darksdiers 1 when he played it few months ago [dont remember really when exactly, can someone dig up that bombcast date?].

I'm 100% sure he will review DS2.
 
Anyone ever order from THQ before? It went through, I see my paypal payment, but haven't received the email confirmation or a steam key or anything. How long does this take?

I doubt he'll review it since he won't be back in the office until the 20th (and going on his honeymoon) and Jeff already said he would review it during one of the quicklook.

Pretty sure you won't get a steam key until the actual release date or if they announce a pre-load date, but not getting an email confirmation is weird. Maybe you just have to wait a bit longer.

Doing a quick once-over of the Achievement list, doesn't look like we have anything like that this time. There's definitely stuff you can miss.... but you should always be able to fas-travel back to the area and take care of the requirements.

I think those folks are shit out of luck. Odds are that Nintendo has an extremely strict NDA in place on all devs with access to WiiU kits. Their lips are sealed lest they want to face Nintendo's wrath.

I very recently played through Darksiders 1 and have only seen bits and pieces of 2.

Now I'm looking at this and reading some posts in the thread and I have to say my body was not ready, the combat really took a big step forward.

Ninja Gaiden 3 was crap, DmC just looks...."ok", Metal Gear Rising was all I was really looking forward to and now this just came out of left field and knocked me on my ass.

LTTP on this, but gods this burns. Especially the sidequest stuff >:(
I pre-ordered on GMG when they had that great deal. Missing out on weapons or other things of that ilk is annoying but ultimately inconsequential. Might just replay 1 and wait for them to put that shit on steam. Bah.
