What in the fuck did I just read? One of the most ridiculous things I've read in here and that's saying something. You Skylar sympathizers make me sick. Walt is full retard to trust in a woman like her with all of the surrounding factors. I knew she would be the one to bring him down.
I like how some of you believe that Walt is abusive, it is Skyler who is abusive mentally, & by her actions.
Fuck a guy get back with Walt only to use his hard earned money on a douche who fucked his wife & can't manage his business.
Honestly Walt should have took out the trash then & there.
Skylar has remained the sole blemish on this perfect show, her acting is great, you are supposed to hate her, She is the obvious Achilles heel.
I hope that now that she showed suicidal tendancy & is trying to take Walt's kids away, that Walt rubs her out soon.....
Jesus, people that inject morality into TV watching are absurd. It's fiction. You can enjoy Walt's character, prefer him to every other character within the show and root for a happy ending to his character, and it doesn't mean shit about you in real life.
All of these people saying that there's something wrong with those who don't side with Skylar, and do not absolutely loathe Walt, are being ridiculous. It's a freaking television show.
I dislike Skylar and I like Walt. Walt, while morally repugnant and a despicable human being, is entertaining to watch. Skylar, while morally gray but deserving so in many cases, comes off as overly whiny, and is awkward and infuriating to watch. I'm not sexist, I'd just rather watch someone balance a drug empire and family life, while delving deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole, instead of someone whine, nag and have panic attacks. Once again, she's certainly deserving of these characteristics, but as a viewer, they're simply not fun to experience repeatedly.

Loved the ending.
"You're a time bomb, tick, tick, ticking away."

Skyler is a prisoner in her own home. People just hate on her because it's the cool thing to do.
Yes, she fucked Ted. There's that. But Skyler's showing something that Walt hasn't shown in quite a long time: guilt. This episode showed that Walt has transformed from a mild mannered high school teacher to a heartless monster in the space of a year.
He poisoned a child to manipulate his partner. Walt's only lying to himself saying that he's still doing it for his family. We all know he's doing it for him, because he's power hungry, because he's turning into an egomaniac.
To think that Skyler is worse than him is absolutely ridiculous. There's a difference between doing some stupid things and generally acting like a bitch towards someone, and then there's running a drug empire and having people killed and POISONING CHILDREN.
Never understood how that is even a factor.
I mean seriously? With what we've seen people do in this show, that is non existant, basically.
Something about needing a software upgrade because the current system is inefficient or has problems. (my German isn't great, any actual German speakers who can clarify?)
Lydia made the barrel disappear in the system, with an upgraded system it might not be possible for her to keep doing that. Also the disappearing barrels might be the reason why they think they need better software.
Pretty much, the female on the phone talks about deliveries showing up as double or triple in the system. Then the german guy on the phone says that the new system would affect their production.
Then the american actresss attempts to speak german (worst attempt I've ever heard), it's hard to understand what she said but the gist of it is that she is trying to delay the software upgrade by saying that they wouldn't meet the quarter results with the new system.
You stated this:
breaking bad does not imply we are supposed to hate him, dislike him, or not understand his actions.
You guys are going after Skyler, Lydia is the one that needs to go. And urgently. Skyler's hands are tied, she's not an immediate threat

Yes but at least Lydia DOESN'T TRY TO STOP THE FUCKING WALT TRAIN.
Is it me or is it obvious that Lydia is working with the DEA? I think maybe it's TOO obvious, which bugs me.

What if someone else at Madrigal bugged the drum in the hopes of finally finding out who Gus's cooks are? I don't believe there was just Schuler, Lydia and Gus, there had to be more people involved high up.
Gus and Gomey talking about her in private about how she's not working with them was just in case Heisenberg wire tapped the DEA!Is it me or is it obvious that Lydia is working with the DEA? I think maybe it's TOO obvious, which bugs me.
Working with who in the DEA? Hank sure doesn't know shit about her.
Did you watch last night's episode?
How in the hell is that obvious?
Gus and Gomey talking about her in private about how she's not working with them was just in case Heisenberg wire tapped the DEA!
It's ok, I wrote "Gus" instead of "Hank"D'oh. I guess that was one of the scenes I missed. Sorry everyone.
The cold open was hilarious, I would totally have loved it if it wasn't for the selling of the Aztek![]()
I'm not sure about this argument. Wasn't his expectation to be alive less than a year?? Even if he was making 500k a year it was still short of where he would have needed to be to set his family up for the rest of their lives. He had a job waiting for him that would secure the well being of him and his family. I think you may have missed an episode or just perhaps gleefully glossing over the most crucial aspect of this argument.
I would want to take care of my family if I was on the precipice of dying as well. Faced with the set of choices between a legal, well-paying job that would require the most minuscule degree of humility or cooking meth, something that would greatly endanger the lives of those closest to me, I would make the choice that any purported "hero" would make. To argue otherwise is not a matter of "agreeing to disagree." It's more akin to arguing that the sky is yellow.
I missed it, can someone explain it to me? For some reason my cable box reset itself exactly at 10PM and took 3 minutes to boot up.
I got to the part where Walt Jr. is like "really dad?" about the $50, but I didn't know what that was pertaining to...
Then I see him pull the 300 into the driveway next to the PT Cruiser...and then flip scenes and Jr. gets his car back. Did he "buy off" Walt Jr. again? lol
Lots of people have always hated Skyler but I think part of it is because of the way her arc has been written. When she found out about Walt, she absolutely wouldn't even talk to him. Wouldn't let him see his children. When she found out that she could use Walt's money to help her brother in law and sister, she all the sudden thought that it was OK. Completely self serving and hypocritical.
But from there it was handled decently, she was inching her way into the fold, but then when Walt kills someone, who was threatening to kill not only him, but also her and his two children, she breaks down and thinks he's evil? No gray area, no subtle lack of trust, just mental breakdown? If Walt hadn't done what he did, his entire family would be dead. Period. Her reaction has been too rash, that's the way it was written. That's why people hate her. Because she completely fails to see anything other than "My husband killed people, he's a murder, he's evil, he's the Anti-Christ." When she should also see that he was acting in self defense, defense of their family. And never mind the fact that the people he killed were also, all murderers.
The mechanic has fixed the aztek from it's latest run-in with Walter Whiterofessional Bad Guy. He's going over, almost reminiscently, all the previous fixes he's put on it ("at least this time, we didn't have to install a new windshield").
Walt then opens the driver door to get in, looks inside, and see's the Heisenberg Hat. A plan of "fuck it, I'm the boss" forms in his head. He turns around and asks the mechanic "How much will you give me for the car? $100? $50?" The Mechanic says "lets see what I've got in the register"
So Long Aztek.
Then the american actresss attempts to speak german (worst attempt I've ever heard)
I'm pretty sure it's a calculated move on the part of the writers to show you mild character flaws in Skyler like these and smoking while pregnant so you can say, "HOW DARE SHE" and then realize that her husband is cooking meth, poisoned an innocent kid and is a multiple murderer, and is doing it entirely out of pride.
