I fall into this group too, but I do try to stay open minded enough to check all fighters out when they're on stream or in multi-faceted threads like this. I just love games too much to get hung up on the small stuff beyond disappointment that I can't play them at times.

I like this mindset, and I agree. I really enjoy playing fighting games, understanding the systems behind them, figuring out how to apply mindgames with the tools they give me, etc. Fighting games are fun to me, so I don't mind playing niche games when they're fun because they're still fighting games. It's also why I can't really hate any fighting game. I just have some I like more than others, but all of them have things to like, and I can appreciate why other people might play a game I don't play for whatever reason.

Well, maybe I might not like all fighting games. I'm sure something will come to mind eventually.

Dedicated Marvel players are hardly a minority.

If you don't like the game, that's perfectly fine, you don't have to play it....But why are some people already condemning the game?

That's just stupid, no one is the central figure head of the community to really announce how short the game's life will be. Just play the game and have fun, why are people even thinking of that kind of stuff?

People care because they don't want to invest hundreds of hours into a competitive game they'll have to play alone months down the line.

That said, everything is quite exaggerated when it comes to assessing such things. I agree with you generally though, you shouldn't think too much of it.

LI Joe is going to have some drama on tonight with Triforce and Jago on. The big news is that Jago left Fingercramp for EMP.

It's a first week tourney. It's just gonna be dudes pressing buttons for the most part and spamming the cheapest shit they can find in the first few days. So anybody has a chance. It'd be nice if this could be streamed, but no biggie.

Yup, it's probably mostly gonna be Auto Combos, lol. Should be fun regardless. And yes, there will be a stream. :p


And I like Gooteck's Mitsuru play so far, I hope he sticks with this game.

Maybe I recall incorrectly but doesn't jago like not get along with some other EMP guys. I could have sworn Remix had some choice words for jago, and was talk real greasy about the guy saying his persona was bitten etc. I don't follow the drama regarding EMP closesly so maybe I'm mistaken or it was squashed a long time ago. Jago doesn't come across as a very likeable person either way though.

So... is ChrisG the main Fingercramp guy now? I haven't watched much FC stuff recently.
 
I really wish Basara X, FOTNS/HNK, and (and maybe rumble fish) got XBLA/PSN ports. It's a hassle to bust out my modded PS2 nowadays. I am lazy, lol.
