Read on Event Hubs that EMP will be sponsored by the Video X Games people. Ultra David said the rumor is it's around 10k.

EMP already put out a press release announcing such, and that it's five figure. So at minimum it's $10k.

LOL @ grand finals being a ZmC mirror just to troll. That Break special.

Love how Chris had no idea what he was doing with Zero and still won. He knew Vergil, a and a little bit of Dante.

Marlin on the hand knows Zero (messed up on 2 combos because he didn't understand the hit stun) and Dante but his Vergil was ass-tastic. And Richard was right... you put Dante 2nd and he automatically become shit tier.

This is a pretty bold statement, but at the same time I can see it. I think I'd take helplessness at match start with walk up pressure to dealing with a lot of the welcome mixups people have come up with lately.

*Says this as he recently adopted Viper/Dante/Strider*

I'm starting to truly believe it. If he gets hit with the mixup he dies and if he escape I just feel out of rhythm with him. I play Zero/Dante/Sent if you're wondering. Can totally see why Mihe says fuck it I'll run Zero/Vergil/Dante rather then everyone else who run ZmC with Dante 2nd.

So... who wants to date Happy Medicine. Its him right?

I don't see Gill there or am I missing him?

No he's not there, I noticed that too. I guess the artist just focused on characters that could be selected in the game they first appeared in. Gill was first available as a playable character in the home port. Second Impact, I believe.

Or maybe he just hates Gill.

I think he's justified in excluding him either way.

Nevermind, I just saw your edit. Yeah, It's "In Order Of First Playable Appearance In An Arcade Version". I probably should have read the whole thing.

So...all this Slender stuff.
All I'm seeing from the game is that they drop you in a dark, low-res environment with a flashlight, and you walk around until you get caught.
Is there anything else to it?

That's basically it. It's possible to beat the game by finding all 8 pages, but I've never made it that far.

On a separate note, I think both Big Two and WNF are gonna have Persona tonight?

Iiiiiiiiindeeeeeeed.

Should be hype?, just hope they don't have the boring Asian dude who did the P4:A Cross Counter tutorial on the mic at WNF.

The other guy who did the 2nd half of Ultrachen's Persona 4: Arena introductory show is good tho.

There's a static map, you spawn in the same (or maybe 2-3 different) spots every time.
Your objective is to find 8 notes that spawn in any of like 15-20 predefined locations.
The first time you pick up a note, an ominous noise starts and the slenderman starts following you. He's pretty much always behind you. Every note you pick up increases the speed at which he follows you. Every other note adds another ominous noise in the background.
Using your flashlight also increases the speed with which he follows you, so you pretty much should only use it indoors.

edit: Oh yeah, if you look at him for more than a second or two, you lose, so turning completely around is almost always a horrible idea.

Gawt dayum, I don't think I can handle that.

Awesome, will be great to see it get some focus other than the fact that we will have the idiots in the stream spouting stupidity about anime fighters and weeaboo this and that and whare is marvels and random other gems.
