It would be interesting to see of these "capcom people" really do pick up TTT2 but I somehow doubt it. I give em 3 weeks max before they call the game ass and drop it.
I never really think of those as danger topics, even though I know people get banned in them. It just seems silly to me that it ever happens at all.

Though I will gladly forfeit the hypothetical game to you, because I am singularly awful at fighting games. I enjoy them as a spectator, but I'm the sort of guy who consistently fails to link Chun's SAII after crouching mk. My reaction and input ability are dreadful and I just don't have the patience or inclination to try to improve my baseline ability.
I actually took a bit of time and started practicing for real with Persona. You'd be surprised how much you can improve in like 4-5 days of playing a bit each day if you take it seriously.

I can see it being picked up by a lot of people as the next big game. The stuff that capcom's rumoured to have on the horizon doesn't look like it'll be anywhere near as popular. People are gonna stick with sf4 and marvel but the ones who are looking for something new, will go to TTT2 imo.

I can't see that many 2d heads pickup ttt2 if they didn't like previous 3d fighters.
I think some of the sponsored players will pick it up if MLG has it at the end of the year.

Ricky O has tekken background too. Can't remember who he played but they were playing Tekken Tag at FGTV a few months back and you can tell played Tekken back in the day.
Yeah I didn't see a Hawkeye at first so I skipped through.
But then I saw dat Hawkguy.
I don't play Ryu anymore though, Nova took that spot on my team.

I remember watching that. Ricky was probably playing Patrick aka Naoki, a very good Tekken player from norcal. Ricky played T6 too running dat Jack but I guess he stopped to focus on SFIV.

That team is not competitive unfortunately. Vergil and Dorm have no real neutral assist to work with. Plus it's just better to do Spiral Swords loop (in that combo if he had done 3 SS instead of the DHC he would've killed anyway). This is a training room combo IMO.

I have really rocked people with Rapid Slash as my primary assist. I've also done well with Dark Hole as my only supporting assist for Vergil. I basically use it like I once did with Sentinel. A combination of these four things:
1) Stinger, Dark Hole, teleport mix-up.
2) Dark Hole, Stinger; Dark Hole appears right on top of Vergil to cover him if it whiffs.
3) Dark Hole, dash forward s.S; Dark Hole appears on top of Vergil to cover him.
4) Dark Hole + Judgment Cut to cover most of the screen to get Round Trip out there safely.
I won't say it's the best assist in the world, but I think Vergil can be used a lot like Nemesis or Sentinel, where your assists are more about covering your blind spots than anything else, because his normals are so massive.
