Thats just something us poor people tell ourself. Alot of people for some reason believe the universe/life/karma must balance out some how. Wealthy must have a poor social life, the bully must end up in a dead end job. The pretty popular girl in high school ends up fat and alone. I can't lie - some of that shit leaves me pretty damn salty. It's not even the $100K bar tabs or the boats or cars or whatever. I'd just love to be able to call every day a different adventure. The world is a playground for a lot of these people, and that's pretty enviable.

Nah, I've met plenty of rich people who are complete husks. Especially spoiled kids who have money but lack for any kind of parenting and end up ruined from drug and alcohol abuse. That stuff really happens. A lot. There are also plenty of well adjusted rich kids but there's definitely a lot to the stereotype of rich kids who burn themselves down.
There are voids inside of you that no amount of money can fill and I've seen people desperately try to do so. Those who go crazy with cosmetic surgeries are the most disturbing.

In my opinion a Rolex is expensive enough thats it's still mostly a "rich" person thing. But a gold card really doesn't take much to get. I'm pretty sure almost anyone with the tiniest bit of credit history can get it.
