Just one week after announcing a final arcade availability date of September 20 for Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R, Arc System Works has announced a release timeframe for the game's Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. Console fighters can look forward to the game through PSN and Xbox Live Arcade in late October.

The home version will have the name Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus (the R is in the arcade version because of its hardware, Sega's Ringedge board). Initially, the home version will be based off the PlayStation 2 original. It will be updated later to the arcade version's specifications.

I know they said when they announced the details that Haunts is gonna be in all the major SF 25th stops, so does that mean that the Asian finals is gonna have english commentary or is it going to be a Chinese/Japanese stream ?

The official SF25th page is strangely lacking in details for everything revolving the Asia grand finals. No schedule, rules, nothing. Usually the others had their schedules up by now.

It doesn't even include the reported Japanese qualifier yet, which is super strange.

You just have to turn it into a joint purchase. My wife was "meh" toward the PS3 at first, but now that it's our Netflix machine, she's even more inclined to say we need to buy a new one ASAP if it breaks than I am.
 
There's no Stickbug event this week (next is September 29).
James Xie will be streaming Rebel Up though, with BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend and Persona 4 Arena.

I wish it was that easy. She knows a lot about videogames/PCs, <anecdote time>in our first real date(we "kinda dated" for months), I took her to my place, which at the time had a room full of music stuff and my living room had a gamecube/dreamcast/xbox/ps2 and two CRTs. I wanted her to know everything about me so I didn't hide a thing. She didn't care much for the music room but she laughed at my living room and said "I bet you don't have super mario bros. there!". I looked for one of my many emulator/roms discs, turned on the DC, and told her "here, what did I win?". She said "not so fast, I have to check if it runs the way it should be". She made it all the way to bowser(world 8-4) on her first try. Oh and she also uses utorrent to watch the latest series(like breaking bad) because here in Peru it takes some time to get them. </anecdote time> and when I had a 360/PS3/Wii, I had a huge leeway because I was going through a hard time(personal/job wise) but when things started to go better(and we knew the baby was coming) and we were about to move to a smaller place she got a laptop with a bluray player and told me "now there's no point in you having those, besides the baby's almost here". Lvl. 3 X-factor indeed. #FGCdadsFTW
