I loved Spooky's house streams where he'd just play random games. I hope he makes a Let's Play of Batman for the NES. I know he ran that on his stream at one point.
 
Spooky's old house stream were godly stuff. I mean the whole crew was awesome. Kuma, arturo, josh and some other folks. If I had the bandwidth to stream so quality stuff I would do gaf lag sessions lol.
 
So the SF25th anniversary Asia Grand Finals taking place in Taiwan is coming up this weekend. The aren't a lot of details but I think it'll only have 8 competitors for AE (winners and runner ups from their respective countries). We have:
  1. Infiltration
  2. Poongko
  3. Xian
  4. Gackt
  5. Gamerbee

Only info I can't find is the Taiwan runner up and the two representatives from Hong Kong. Any predictions on who the top 2 will be? I'm guessing the safe bet is Infiltration and Gamerbee. Before EVO, I felt Xian had a good chance of making top 8 but it didn't really pan out. I'm hoping he does well this time around.

Edit: After some thinking, I realized that Xiao Hai and Dakou are from china. If those two qualified from HK, it would make for a very interesting tournament.

Chances of that (good hotel internet) are very slim in Arkansas. However, Saturday night's "afterparty" will basically be a glorified post-tourney hotel casuals. Everything stays in the venue, everyone who was already at the venue can stay at the venue, and "grudge matches," casuals, etc. can all be played pretty much all night without having to go out of your way to do anything. It'll also be streamed by PandaxGaming and I've been talking to him about hopefully having something fun setup so that the viewers will stay interested.

I kinda regret calling it an afterparty though. Last year it was more justified since we were supposed to be providing beer for all the 21+ entrants but things didn't end up turning out since everyone was too tired to do it. This year we're starting much much earlier and, while we're not providing beer, we also don't have to kick out the underage players either so it all works out.

RB is considered the 2nd best Taiwanese player I think. He teamed up with Gamerbee to win the Taiwan SBO qualifier(as a 2 man team). So it could be him, but I don't like his chances though. As for China, I think Xiaohai is definitely there best player, for the 2nd slot it's probably between Human Bomb or Dakou. Although there are tons of good HK/Chinese players that we've never heard of. And plenty of good online players that we have like followupUSF or GameOutt. Too bad Haunts isn't streaming that, I guess he's only doing what's on the schedule at the webpage and Japan and the rest of Asia will do there own thing to send in there winners.

Stuck at home all weekend watching streams of people spending 1 hour losing against Galactus.

also, in retrospect, i built a brand new PC. i5 3750k. gtx 680. 8 gigs of ram. all for street fighter 4! (im still playing on a crappy vf5 stick!) so come on PC gaf. bring it please!
 
There was a minor announcement on the KOFCast that SoCal Regionals will be in January and will be a three-day event now.
