I'm just curious how many people here smoke herbs... just from a survey viewpoint and if so how much do you smoke? It seems like not as many people smoke as its made out to be but that's what I'm trying to find out.

Copious amounts of select strains of gourmet marijuana. In fact, I'm about to cut out of the office early to go handle that.

MJ is the only woman that has always been there for me. She never gets out of line, or talks back. She's there in my times of need.

How I love you, Mary Jane.

1 cigar/week? LOL...c'mon man there's tons of cigars in the $3-$4 range. Not really that expensive.

What I meant by that, was I only see what I perceive to be wealthy people smoking cigars. I tried once and all it did was made me want to shit my life away. Then I'm told you aren't supposed to inhale. Which to me is odd. What's the point?

It's true you don't inhale cigar smoke. It's for the taste, some cigars give you nice hints of flavour like coffee or chocolate. Also very relaxing since cigars take a while to smoke depending on the size. Usually at least 1 hr to smoke a reasonably sized one. You sit back, relax with a good drink and enjoy. Depending on the strength of the cigar you also have a nice mellow feeling afterwards.

Why not just smoke marijuana?

Ive begun to smoke cigarettes, but Im just a social smoker, I only smoke a couple of cigarettes when Im out with friends. I would smoke marijuana, but its impossible to get it where I live.

wait, you're kidding right?

That's like asking a regular smoker why they don't just smoke marijuana instead of cigarettes. It's an entirely different feeling.

About 30 "normal" cigarettes a day.

Explain that...

I mean, the one law/concept I learned to grasp in micro economics, was the 'Law of Dimishing Returns'. The professor used M&M's as an example, but cigarettes apply as well. At least in my experience with them.

With greenery, I don't have to smoke as often, and the effects are way, way better than a cigarette. In fact, I don't even notice any affects after smoking a cig most of the time.

Plus, most cig smokers I've observed are neurotic.

Terrible idea to start smoking cigarettes, but that's just because I got addicted in no time. I haven't smoked cigs in like 3 months, but I used to smoke a pack a day easy. Also, I'm getting some mad cravings lately, so I don't know if I'll be able to continue as a non-smoker...

Also, smoking weed is so much more satisfying when you stop smoking cigs. Because the smoke from weed doesn't really give you a rush, like nicotine does, I used to think of it as "empty smoke" and become impatient. Now I savour it a lot more, although I only smoke like 3-4 times a month tops now.

I smoke both cigarettes and mary jane.

However I don't like the cigarettes. And it's hard to quit a routine of smoking them.

And I am an everday smoker.

It would be referred to as "stupid" if I would negotiate with clients, authorities or the press while being stoned as hell.

And the neurotic thing, concerning myself, is totally correct.

Not in awhile, but occassionally. No reason to be uptight about weed, "I never will!" dudes; it's pretty harmless.

Fact: I've smoked with Drinky in his brother's garage! Then we went on to play Dynasty Warriors, which was suddenly quite hilarious indeed, with the bodies flying everywhere.

I used to smoke weed almost all day every day for several years. Now I just smoke on my own, just enough to chill out in the evening (rather than almost knocking myself out like I used to) and think up new concepts for my art or work etc. Weed is a personal thing, I get positives out of it while some friends dont, and i've found a place for it.

I'm trying this right now, no tabaco, just pure weed. But I really miss the nicotine, I was so used to the nicotine rush that I really have a hard time not using tabaco.
But I find that I smoke much less, since I'm not hooked on nicotine any more - which usually makes me want to smoke more and more, eventhough it doesn't have any additional effect.

I hope I'll get used to it soon.

NICOTINE IS THE REAL DEVIL!!!1

I personally think the smell and taste is repulsive, and it's waaayyyy more trashy smoking that then cigars. I can get a perfectly fine mellow and buzz-ish feeling from a good cigar, and it's lega. Weed is pretty ****ing overrated.

Yes. OOooh yes. Top shelf quality buds only. Me and my girlfriend used to smoke occasionally, now we seem to smoke once a day. I find it an excellent to refresh myself & relax after working my ass off in a boring ass office all day. Although I have no problem taking a break for a few weeks to a month. Anyone who argues weed is addictive simply has no idea what they're talking about.

Not top quality weed. Most people who come to this conclusion have never had the pleasure of a top level high thats so good you'd swear it was laced with lsd.
