Fighting Games Weekly | August 27 - September 2

He is misunderstanding hate and welcoming new players.

The anime community PUSHES players away.

Does the anime community really push people away? I was trying to avoid all of this silly drama, but I feel as if this is important. As someone whose main game is SF4 and who's really starting to try anime games competitively with P4A, I haven't seen that happen. I don't think I've really seen that in the Persona thread or here either.

KOFcast just announced the 5 norcal KOF players that will appear on Aftershock.

Hellpockets
Pain
BBZ
Fixel
El Gallo Negro

I might post highlight reels later.

Chris G said Skullgirls players said they're going to stop coming to tournaments because winning all the locals. Anime dude said it's because people are waiting for the patch.

This is actually great entertainment right now. Neither player can justify their different treatment.

We are all fidgety around Women and can't go to a tournament without cosplaying. Shit, I went to Skillionaire's heat #3 dressed as Goku.

Because he is winning all the locals?

I don't know about Marvel but plink'ing is extremely useful in SF4. Really helps to nail those links, especially the 1 framers. That's what I'm afraid about SF5 though. Some people have been playing stick for years and merely adapted to plinking. I was born from it, moulded by it. I didn't have a fight stick until I was already a man. Since I've been plinking since the beginning, not doing it would be nothing but blinding to me.

So basically, bring back plinking in SF5 Capcom because I can't double tap. Without it I think I'm fucked.

Yea, it would probably help me. But it's hard to break old habits.

I used to see this alpha 2 combo vids with the links and I would get the notations and just practice the links raw looking at the animations retractions.

I cant do it any other way, haha. I am too old, heh. I do find myself dropping my gief links more than my Adon ones for some reason. I play ryu some and can hit his bnb links on a good clip. But of course not 100%, which is the goal of course.
