No clue, but I'm eager to learn more about it and would assume a personality presenting on it would be a lot more captivating than reading a textbook.
This doesn't sound appealing at all. I tend to avoid the GAF meetups or meetups in general. :/

I guess so, but it's stronger with gaffers.
I've never actually tried it, but I just feel like it would be really awkward and horrible for me. There have been meetups nearby or at events I've gone to, and I avoid them.
I felt the same way before, it was the first night in the apartment for me and well, it was after lollapollza so some folks came by with Sai-Kun.
It was actually the first time I got drunk, ever.
Odd that it's different with GAFfers.
If the chance comes around, maybe try hanging out with one or two beforehand, that way you have someone to talk to whenever you go
I did Otakon and spent a lot of time at the anime showings, had fun doing that over the like 2-3 hour meet-up with a group I knew online. >_> Then again I loved the inner harbor a lot so exploring it at like 2-3AM when the con finally started to close for the day was also fun.

The first time I ever met people from online was the same day I moved to the other side of the country and would be spending the next few weeks living with them. It went well. I also met soco and another GAF dude that same weekend!

I would love to meet some of my online friends; it'd be awesome. I've had a chance to before, but I was broke (they were celebrating their birthday at Disneyland).
We should meet, so that I can borrow your games. Or you can easily drop them into the mailbox.
I think it'd be fun to attend a GAF meetup. Not one of the actual meetups of course, since I don't know any of the people who organize and attend them, but if one of the threads I follow (namely this one and the Vita thread) were to organize a meetup, I'd go in a heartbeat.

you guys should mingle more and post in the"Post your Pic" thread. From GayGaf, I've only seen real pics from Sagitario, Cosmicbus and Mr_Zombie there, if memory serves well (and sorry if it doesn't!).
I do remember some faces from avatars or other unrelated threads though.
