Heh, never heard of anyone else having the Maverick Audio DAC outside of head-fi, but it's awesome value for money considering how much it does. I've been using that headphone setup for years and it's great.
I've been really tempted by the AKG K550's recently though. they're just so pretty.

Fantastically clean. I'd look into getting bigger 27" or 30" 1440p/1600p monitors before just getting more smaller ones. Becomes too much of a hassle managing everything with more than 3.

LOL, there's chairs off to the left side not in the picture...she prefers the couch.
At our last place, my father gave her this expensive iMac desk to use. I had this 25.5" monitor that fit on it perfectly. Hooked up her MacBook to it with a keyboard and mouse. She ended up just using the laptop and touchpad and never turned the monitor on! Thinking about just getting her a tablet since she rarely does anything more than check Email and watch streaming videos...

Yeah. I've considered finding some kind of paper 'blinds' to hang down off the bottom at least halfway... it would obscure all that and make it look cleaner... haven't done it yet though.
The left monitor (attached to the mini) is on an adjustable arm. I like the mode where the keyboard is right on the desk though. This is the right height to have my arms at 90º.
I will say the standing desks are great for when you need to get under there to mess with cords.

Well, it's a mess. But here it is.
If I cleaned it it wouldn't be representative of how it usually looks anyway.
The laptop is used basically as a stationary computer, so everything there is hooked up to it. Monitor, mouse, keyboard, USB DAC etc.
And am I the only one on GAF still using a CRT monitor? Didn't see any others in this thread. It might not look like it because I used a flash, but that monitor is fucking awesome. Great colors and black levels, and a 2048x1536@75hz resolution. Easily the best monitor I've used. The only problem is just that it's friggin' huge. Oh and the keyboard (not the one behind the monitor) sits on top of the stationary computer/server under the desk if you're wondering, because obviously I can't put it on the actual desk right now. I have it in my lap when I'm using it.
Also I noticed that a lot of the messy desktop pictures in this thread has an ashtray on the desk. Is it just smokers that are messy in general?
