Infamous banned gaffers

There's one dude that freaked out about the iris of new Sonic game and he wrote an research paper on that. It was hilarious but pretty cool at the same time.
 
Blame Space gone? His posts always made me chuckle.

I don't know if I ever laughed harder than the "Where does Train get off" thread, and to most people it probably wasn't even that funny. I had a couple beers in me, but it was one of those perfect moments where a certain combination of words and context created some amazing humor.

So many of the posters banned are what make this forum so damned entertaining. Rules are rules and all that, it's just sad seeing the list.

What happened with Ami?

It was hard to follow Blamespace's train of thought on his posts. He posted random one liners.
Dr. Eggman was hilarious. Wasn't surprised he got juniored really fast. Didn't know he got perm'd.
Read some of Amir0x last posts. It felt like he always had to be right and it wasn't helping anyone. Pretty much shitting up the thread. People warned him, but he just kept on going.
I gotta read up on what Drinky Crow did.

I'm assuming you're talking about HUELEN10. He's been mentioned a couple of times yeah. His Sonic eye meltdown was pretty interesting, but more than that for me was his amazing DSi shilling that was just above and beyond crazy.

Another banned guy I was just reminded of was WiiWillRockU, the guy who fabricated that Layton Twitter thing.

I'm sad blamespace is gone. He contributed zilch to topics but he made them so much fun.

I mean, what do you expect when you troll with 3/4th of your posts? I mean it's a shame, because they seemed to be intelligent and interesting whenever they decided to post real stuff, but how long can mods take banning them over and over again?

My understanding is a lot of the community threads and new threads for new news came out of that. A new song pack would come out and they would just talk about it in the rock band mega thread. People wouldn't know if a new one came out. The people in the thread got their panties in a bunch when a mod said something about that and spammed the forum endlessly with every new song pack that had come out so that each got it's own thread. They were intentionally trying to bring the database down with as much junk as they could. They all got perma'd and they all went off and now are on a different corner of the internet.
 
You really have to want to be permabanned to actually get it is my theory. I've had my share of 3 month bans.

Dude was forgotten too quickly. Good poster who was stupidly perma'd for posting a "pour one out" post.
 
and not infamous, but it was a sad day for BF3 GAF when Blue got banned. waited so long for approval after playing BC2/BF3 with PS3 GAF for years... then gets perma'd for going HAM on Devo... and all i can think is "c'mon son, you've browsed GAF for years before getting approved and somehow think that was a good look?"

I miss Nintendobooger's first world problem threads. I was always in awe reading his bullshit and will do anything to see him back again just for the lulz. Greatness Gone is another funny fucker that I also miss due to his posts that always turn into incestuous erotica stories, hahaha.

I wish Docpan posted more.
