I got banned from r/awww because someone posted an image of a bat covered in orange polen and while everyone was making cheetos jokes, I posted "Wuhan's forbidden snack" - yeah it was mid 2020 lol.
It's pretty common to be banned for threatening violence when you didnt. It happened to me multiple times. They will revert the ban but it's annoying that people can just get you banned fot disagreeing with them and choise whatever reason they want.
I got banned on X and honesty was a blessing because that place is toxic asf. Reddit is the same but I can only manage to get banned on subreddits, not site wide surprisingly.
