which is why I side with the whole hank suicide thing....walt can pull a guilt trip on him easily esp with the whole medical bills thing.
The guit trip theory would have flown when Walt was just a small time cook who could believably weave a tale in which he was unwittingly sucked into some dark place. Even last season, he could've walked away relatively okay if he turned himself in and let loose the goods on Gus.

But he's a mass murderer now, at the top of a rapidly contracting food chain, and I'm sure Hank could rationalize convicting Walt as him protecting Walt's family and the country really.

Not even taking into account that Walt was pretty much responsible for Hank's injuries and paid off his recovery with meth-stained money.

(God, this show. Ten months...)

Good luck with him both getting that book out of the house (a book that will likely disappear once Walt catches on) and convincing his boss to hire a handwriting expert.

Now that he's on to Walt, he can probably piece together existing evidence without utilizing police resources. The only thing stopping Hank would be his hesitation to deal with the consequences of the conviction.

I like how American TV has no problem showing kids getting murdered and extreme violence but censors the word fuck

Regardless, awesome ep

Yeah, I think he's going to have to. The book is what clued him in, but it's not going to bring down Walt.

Hank will literally have to lose everything and everyone he loves if he pursues Walt.

Exit: On second thought, I think he will get caught using police resources.

People seem to be thinking that Walt uses Saul's "disappearer" to get where he is in the S5E1 opening. I don't think so. Why would the disappearer be so stupid as to make Walt's new last name his wife's maiden name? I think Walt's doing it himself.

True about the Injuries...Walt caused that so that can be thrown back around.

but I still don't think Hank can do it. It's too damaging to the family and in a way to his ego...I mean the biggest cook in the southwest was right under his nose? and he never knew it? That has to be the biggest slap in the face.

Either Walt sells people out or he basically fucks everyone over and gets them caught.

I tend to think he's in witness protection. I don't see how someone with a made-up identity could get a prescription for cancer medication.

I could also see Walt convincing Hank to just let him live out his remaining months in peace. Naturally, he would give up everyone else (including Jesse).

It saddens me, but I just see something getting Jesse caught or killed. It seems inevitable at this stage and how Walt left him.

Yeah. At the beginning of this season I thought it was going to be ALL about Madrigal. I thought we'd be hearing a lot more German. I didn't think we'd be in this whole Vamonos Pest type of thing.

I thought they were gonna play a bigger part as those Germans at the DEA meeting looked somewhat badass to me but they didn't do much (i guess in an effort to keep the story "local"). But with the international angle reappearing it would be interesting if they came back.

Maybe I missed it, but was their confirmation that the cancer is back? All I remember was him going in for a test, not that it is indeed back.

The racist component of a prison gang like the AB (who has a strong alliance with the Mexican Mafia for example) is nothing more than an intimidation tactic at this point. Dudes are all business.
Not disagreeing, but I do believe they've always had a war ongoing with the Black Guerilla Family (if they still functionally exist.) I imagine that members do hold racist tendencies and would probably be more harsh in killing the black guy. Not sure it would make the show better, as that montage was pretty brutal as it was.

VG is big on karma or something. Jessie won't get killed since he's increasingly wanted nothing to do with the violence as he gets control of his life. He may be attacked or kidnapped by one of the various criminal organizations in an attempt to bait fugitive Walt, though.

Yeah, Lydia confirmed that Madrigal has dirt beyond the chemical and food divisions. I assume Herr Schuler killed himself to avoid a fate worse than jail. They hinted at these guys in season two, they must end up having at least one other important character in addition to Lydia.

It's up for interpretation. But I think the body of evidence indicates that the cancer is back.

- he didn't get angry after hearing the results, whereas he was pissed when he learned he was in remission (but maybe his outlook has changed?)
- they were sitting at the same table as when Walt first talked about having cancer
- in the flash-forward, Walt has hair, has a cough, and is taking prescription pills (which makes it seem like he's decided to just live out his last few months in relative comfort, free of chemo)

What ever happened to the cartel guys? Shouldn't those guys be pissed that they haven't received any meth from Walt?
They had their own cook and were pushing for him to leave the business before. With Todd continuing production and Walt being investigated, they may consider him a loose end as with Todd's people and Madrigal.
Nothing was said about the test results
Yet there's no evidence that it's still gone. Walt was coming to his sense and leaving the business, finding out he has cancer again would give him reason to assault the hand dryer. Same with his increasingly sympathetic attitude throughout the rest of the episode and his condition in 9 months.

I'm not saying it's cancer but it's cancer.

I'd bang the crap out of Lydia.

Lmao.

So many possibilities to what's going to happen next! FUCK MAN.

I remember reading a spoiler about skylar bringing Walt into a vault type place and saying something about having too much money now. And whatayaknow, that shit happens this episode. DEM SPOILERS SON.

Wow, so Hank got clued in with 4 episodes to go. Daaaaaamn.

Not sure if Walt has cancer yet but I'm leaning on yes. Everything falls apart the moment he gets out and moves on.

Feel like I should have seen that coming.

Final 8 will be big on a moral dilemma for Hank, imo.

Is it odd that i kept thinking of fart sounds as soon as he sat on the porcelain throne?

Also Lydia is one hot tamale, and she plays her part well.

Lydia is sexy. I love how they brought the ricin back so they will use it again. The big what if is if he uses it to Hank.

I definitely felt it was a bit tame to leave us waiting an entire year with. I was even telling people before the show, ITS GOING TO BE CRAZY THEY ARE GOING TO LEAVE US WITH SOMETHING CRAZY! not a bad episode, showed what needed to so, I dunno. Wish they kind of ended midseason with a 2hour!

I redid the comic, because I have already seen them do a dipping sticks joke with the comic

Is there a reason they are making us wait a year? I never read an explanation for that one... Maybe they finished up filming the episodes of him bald, and are waiting for his hair to grow(his hair might grow crazy slow like mine.) But they already showed him with hair which I think they did while the show was off the air and he had his hair longer for another show/movie or just used a wig.

Also Lydia (Laura Fraser)
Laura Fraser IMDB.com

Currently looking for her nudes, because if they show Anne Hathaway nude i'm sure Lydia nude somewhere

I am in lone with her for her speaking german(turn on!), and what she does with her lips when she is panicking(i'm a creep i know)

it was part of the deal they made in order to get a 5th season at all. most likely splitting the season up earns amc more money in the long run. i would be okay the show coming back in the spring but a whole year is very lame.

Because they need more time to develop a replacement show. The more hit shows they have running, the more value AMC has in the eyes of fans and content distributors.
