PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

ughh I got an email a couple days ago telling me that PS plus what about to expire and it listed steps to go about to renew it. I was not planning on renewing it though as things just are not interesting to me so far. As I see today though that auto renew was already turned on and it re-subbed for 3 months. I guess it's not a huge deal though as $6 a month is really not a lot of money. I really hope that the games get better as I am not someone who purchases a lot of games but so far the most interesting titles have been games I have already played.
 
Wait, looks like Ross left SCEE completely, not just PS+ (yeah i'm late on the uptake with that, but still).

Let's hope the next one is as awesome as Ross was. Ross, if you ever read this, great job <3

FW 4.21 was optional (you don't need it to get onto PSN) so that's why PS+ didn't auto download it.
 
I got a question...
I'm about to lose my PS+ subscription. I know I wont be able to play the games I got for free. But if I subscribe later, like in a month or so. Will I be able to download them again and play them? Or will I lose all of them and just get those that come for free when I re-sub?

Unless they changed something recently, you'll get access to your games again when you renew

I use my CC on PSN all the time but I always delete it after a purchase.

To add, the only thing you'd lose upon resubscribing are the saves uploaded to the cloud if you're not a PS+ member for more than 6 months.
 
There really needs to be a seperate thread for EU+ and US+ because it's disappointing to be a US+ member and come here to see that Sony loves EU+ and shits in US+ members mouths. Lol


And if anyone wants to dispute it, I've been a US+ member since day 1.
 
Well, my Plus runs out today. Will maybe subscribe again if there's some kind of killer sale or a bunch of new games that i dont already own to play.

No. Lots of new E3 subscriptions followed by most not realising it auto renews means the good stuff will be in December.

The Vita versions for those games haven't been confirmed yet. For all we know, we're only getting Machinarium PS3 and not Vita.
 
Turns out my sub ends in December this year so I'll be taking up the EU 25% offer tomorrow after all. Takes me nicely through to the probable next console launch. :)

Yeah, the last we'd heard, the Vita version of Machinarium hadn't even been approved by Sony. So unless they turned out around extremely quickly (which isn't exactly a Sony trait), I'm pretty sure we're only getting the PS3 version this month.

Plus, what on earth would indicate that those three games are all the Vita PS+ is getting anyway? PS3 PS+ already gets 3-5 each month.

Just came back from a holiday and read that Red Dead Redemption is on PS+ here in Europe, can't find it on the store though. Did I miss out or is it gonna be added soon?

Did anyone play the Donald PS2 games? Are they any good?
 
Any idea what we're expecting here in EU?

I actually turned off auto renewal due to not being sure how my bank balance is, but will subscribe again if it's good. I have RDR on 360, but is anything else expected?

Not that I know of, but October game of the month is a PSN title, I think I saw the game being confirmed on the blogpost somewhere.

Red Dead with tomorrows update, Machinarium at the end of the month and two other yet to be revealed games in the middle of the month.

I actually really enjoyed Quack Attack. Easy, simple and fun. It's pretty much a Crash ripoff.

Out of interest: Has there ever been a monthly free game (in EU at least) that doesn't have DLC? What about if we limit it to third parties? Has every monthly free game coincided with a sale on that game's DLC?
