Nice! Around 1:36, you can hear the dirt hitting the bottom of the car as it drives on gravel.
Night driving seemed darker in that Behind the scenes video then the previous ones we've seen. Definitely an improvement.
Before you could drive with your headlights off and manage just fine.
I don't know what it is about Forza that always makes me want to buy an Xbox. Such a shame, because I never pull the trigger. :lol
lol i love how excited they are about night racing when it was in forza 1
Used ones are like dirt cheap nowdays, if you've never played a Forza game you'd be in for a treat.
Notice it was 30fps in Forza 1 for night racing as well...
We have to wait next gen for proper night racing at 60fps with all the bell & whistles.
And no slowdown.
Wow hahaMy old one went to Mars shortly before Forza 4 was released.

I want this game yesterday.
This truly is what I've always wanted out of a Forza game. Just give me a ton of nice cars, a good physics model, let me tweak em, and then let me drive or race on long stretches of varied and beautiful roads and conditions.
I've gotten truly bored of the look, feel and experience of circuits.
YESI've gotten truly bored of the look, feel and experience of circuits.
Is this game 30 FPS?
Seems odd for the Forza series to go that direction.

But - genuine question - how much environmental variety will Colorado offer in Horizon? Everything seems a bit samey so far. A bit brown.Hate to say it, but I agree. So excited to get out on the open road.

Yep, the exact same situation...lol i love how excited they are about night racing when it was in forza 1
Well Forza 1 was 30fps... So we're going backwards.

You should probably mention it again. You know, just to be sure no one missed it..
Anwyay, can't wait to play this game. I didn't quite see it coming. To be honest I didn't even bother to check out the previews because I expected something of the same, just less.. But day/night cycles, traffic, open world.. Just seems like a nice change for the "series".
Physics and assists are *supposed* to be the same as Forza 4, but they've hinted that the physics have been adjusted a bit, but no idea whether thats in the core model or in the assists. At the very least it should be far more sim than any other open world racer out there.Haven't been following this game at all, but that preview stung my interest.
Two questions, first, are the physics as good as in Forza 4? Or did they NFS that shit up and ruined a good game?
2, any idea of a car list so far?
Am picking up both, but have the most hype for Horizon, since there is plenty of choice out there for open world racers with arcade physics. That and I'm not sure whether to pick up Most Wanted on PC or the 360 yet.damn... it's going to be tough deciding between NFS and this... i'll be watching reviews like crazy.
