Finally a company finds out that you are supposed to direct sound INTO the ear. Why didn't anyone else think of that? Of course Apple would figure this out before any other company. How truly Audiotionary. Those three years of R&D were worth it. And that name!
 
I like my sweat-proof Phillips earbuds. They do the exact same thing, but protect the buds from sweat and water, and for half the price.

I think the stupid marketing message takes away what could be a really interesting take on earbuds. I actually do wonder what they sound like.

That having been said, I'm still of the belief that improving earbuds is like improving fast food. Unless you absolutely won't use/can't afford better options right in front of you...
 
I still think they will be crap. Just like all other iterations of Apple's ear buds/buds/whatever they will still fall out with the slightest of movement. That and they hurt the ear like no other.

In-ear buds never fit my ears, hopefully these ones do. I liked the old design the way it was, just not the quality.

I hate shoving these things in my ear. They never stay and just feel bad.

Rigid plastic ones work for me because they just sit there: no hassle, no fuss, no earplugs, no stethoscope-cord-touching-noise. I had some RCA ones that were great and cheap.
 
People complain endlessly for years about how bad the Apple earbuds are, then complain when they introduce something better. Sounds about right.

Note: My point isn't that people pick on Apple, it's that the internet is dumb

The internet is so dumb, it can't get its head around the idea that no two pairs of ears are quite the same shape, nor are any two people at identical thresholds of comfort with wedging things into their ear.
 
Finally Zooey Deschanel can listen to her music the way it was meant. By it being projected into her ear, instead of being deposited there by an ellaborate system of ropes and minecarts

At least The Internet is smart enough to know you don't actually have to try them out to determine if they are crap.
 
Anything they said in the promo video don't mean shit to me, but I'm interested to try them, and hear how good they are.

I'm gonna get me a pair. I've had lots of high end headphones (serious high end, not Beats) plus I've tried some good quality, relatively inexpensive earbuds so I think I have a decent range of comparisons to make

I'm real curious to hear what these sound like.
 
they look comfy and the way the speaker is right inside the ear should make them louder. pretty excited for them
