Nice piece of fanart I found when playing Pokemon Pearl. The rival's crazy awesome so I adopted him as my avatar.

Usually use other cool fanarts I find with him in them, I tend to like being consistent.

Truthfully I wouldn't mind switching to Lucas/Dia, either, he's the best/funniest character in the manga. But it'd be hard to change now.

The version I'm using right now is in recognition of The Killer's latest album, Battle Born.
 
Melissa Clarke. G-Fex opened my eyes to the hotness that is her and I haven't looked back since.

All my avatars are always of her. With short hair, long hair, doesn't matter. ;)

I've been using sexualized Princess Peach avatars for at least 5 years now, if not longer. No particular inspiration, I just think it's funny. Although in the last 5 years, Peach has kind of become like a hentai super star, so it's kind of lost it's impact.
 
Because Hayley is cool and incredibly cute. And redheads are sexy as holy hell.

Time for a change, and a return of sorts.
 
I was playing Pokemon Red Rescue Team on an emulator with my brother watching me. We then saw Charmander's expression, we both laughed for a long time, I took a capture of it, and I've used it where I could ever since.

It's a Swedish singer named Håkan Hellström. Perhaps the most polarizing Swedish artist around, people either seem to love him or utterly hate him. He's a bit like Bob Dylan in his singing technique: from a technical standpoint, he's not a very good singer, but he conveys emotions and lyrics in a very pleasing way to the people who like him. I thought this particular picture was cool, simple as that.
 
I dunno. I have no idea where it originated--a friend of mine showed me this picture many years back and I was so tired I just broke out laughing, caught me completely off guard. So I saved it... never deleted it. Saw it in my images folder, and realized, "Hey, that would make a neat avatar."

And what the heck, I like Mario.

I'm not sure it really fits my posting style, but I have vowed to never change avatars, because I believe an avatar to be your face to the rest of the board.
 
It was originally me in front of the Washington Monument acting as a phallic image. In the HaloGAF thread, Dax shopped the Relic tower for the Washington Monument. Used it since.
 
It's Kyoko Sakura from Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

I would have gone with either Homura or Sayaka, but there are already users who have them as their avatars.

I also like her character as well and I thought the picture looked nice for an avatar.
 
Well one of my earliest memories is my Uncle who is a Violinist playing Brahm´s Hungarian Dances on family Holidays, and since then I developed a taste for his music, he is my favorite composer. My uncle kind of looked like young Brahms too hehe.
