PlayStation Store 09/25/12 - Tokyo Jungle | Hell Yeah | RAW | One Piece: PW

Still cheaper than on the EU Store.
Will probably wait for a sale though, I'm in no hurry to play this game, even if I'm a big fan of One Piece.

Scamco ... sale?! These guys have Tekken 6 for PSP still at $40 three years after release.

Nothing of Value lost since it's just a grind and a poor FF in general. :/

Going by the NDS version, the NES version is much much better IMO, save for the lack of save points in the long and winding final dungeon and non-existent characterization of the protagonists.

Job system is what I'm mostly talking about. It was interesting for an intro but FF5 is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better of an implementation of the job system than FF3. FF3's jobs require MASSIVE grinding to be good. Which you have to do for each character/job. It gets insane.

Was hoping to start OP, GTA, TJ, and HY downloads before I left but lol PSN updates.

Does no one make Sony of America aware of how behind they are? I turn on xbox when I wake up, games are there. I turn on Steam when I wake up, games are there, and if they're not, they'll usually tell me when. I turn on PSN and the screen should just be 'lol idk'

make you wonder What Sony as a whole is doing.

Welcome to five years of bitching, dude. SCEA hears you, SCEA don't care.

And the latter is easy enough to flip to an advantage: good luck trying to make an LP of FFIII DS/iOS/PSP as interesting as an LP of Famicom FFIII! Or even for you to construct little stories in your head for each of the Onion Kids, though that'd probably be easier to do if you could have SOME customization options, but that's too much for an NES game with loads of classes.

And admittedly for Sony their USUAL update time is 3 PM PST, so any earlier is us getting lucky. It's when it takes way longer that we have a problem.

Is there still an active thread for USA based GAFfers buying PSN codes for Europeans? Best Buy has the PSN codes as sold out. I have some links to stores that sell these but if helpful gaffer could help I would instapaypal 50$. I need Tokyo Jungle... ;)

If you don't mind paying 6€ more than the current exchange rate, you can pick up a 50$ card from mmoga on ebay.

They accept paypal and the code will usually be sent 10 to 15 min. after the checkout. The service is also great if there are any problems. :-)

Do you HAVE to grind though?

It was really long ago that I played the DS version and I've sold the system since then, but all I remember is that the game was incredibly tedious, especially the CONSTANT fighting. I grew up playing turn-based jrpg's but that game felt like the epitome of boredom to me.

edit:

Well...I'm fairly sure FF3 on DS was easier than the original.

I don't think that was a very good game either. FF5 has the best job system out of any single player FF game. Much better purchase.
