Funny thing about PSM: All games released so far are from Euro and Japanese Devs. SCEA dev outreach = fail
Minis all over again (minus JP dev support)
US devs would screw people over with the pricing anyways. Can't wait to see what Cut the Rope or Angry Birds is priced at.
The pricing will be fine, they'll just make you buy a separate version for each different device you want to play it on.

I remember seeing that on Steam Greenlight and thought it looked cool.
Luckily it is one of the ones included in the JP launch. That and Rebel look kind of interesting to me.

While I agree with that logic, at the same time virtually all Minis developers have stopped developing Minis.
Laughing Jackal and Futurlab jumped onto PSMobile (so did Honeyslug, but they had only published 1 Mini years ago)
Beatshapers has 3 Minis left, then they're quitting.
Mediatonic has jumped to XBLA
Sanuk Games jumped off last year. They supposedly had a Vita title in the works, but I don't know what they were doing. So did Frima, they have Zombie Tycoon 2 upcoming as a full blown Vita/PS3 PSN title
Other than Alawar and SNK, who are rather mysterious about their upcoming plans, those guys were responsible for most and the most notable Minis.
There were a couple of universities that developed Minis (like the recently released and criminally ignored BounceBack), I suppose if they bought the kits they might continue to use them, but I wouldn't be surprised if they switched to PSM.

Games work fine on Tablet S, although Aqua Kitty is like half the framerate.

Tim Rogers mentioned experimenting with Ziggurat stuff on the Vita on the Insert Credit podcast a while back.
Why would you want to duplicate the physical buttons the Vita has with on screen versions?

Xperia Play is supported, but HTC Desire HD is not, even though it has the same chipset and resolution

I post that without thinking much about it. If the game launch to Vita the game will support the use of sticks or buttons if it fits into it, so it didn't have much sense.
I was thinking something about a FPS game with touch controls to use the sticks.
With all the variations of device, I'm going to guess not all of them are 'out-of-the-box' ready for PSM, and need software updates.
Given that this seems like a very 'soft' launch, it's unsurprising (though disappointing) if they don't have a co-ordinated update plan for all the devices from day one. I guess they'll come soon though.
edit - although this sounds promising-ish. Ideally automatic installation would happen on all the devices, but I imagine it's only some Sony ones:

What, the Vita one? That's weird. Is Finland not covered by Google? We do have the Youtube app, at least (not on the PS3 mind you, I don't think that's out anywhere in Europe yet - I downloaded it from the US store though and it runs great)
My country, The Netherlands, 8th economy of the world I think, isn't in there yet either.
For many things I will understand if it is problematic to release it in other countries, but I will not forgive Sony if this will be one of them. I know they intend to have this out everywhere, and I think basically any country that the iOS App Store serves, Playstation Mobile should serve as well. If not, I'll be very very pissed. Hopefully it won't take too long.

I dont think the PS3 version is available either. I downloaded the PS3 one from my US account sure, but Vita does not have similar multi-account functionality.
That was just one example though, also waiting on the video-store that was "being rolled out to other countries" back in 2010 or something
Just so annoying that these services get announced and released but only in select countries and we are not even told how long and why we have to wait :/

One of PS Mobile's benefits is seamless, standard support for physical controls. It's smart enough to use the buttons or sticks if present, or present equivalent on screen controls where required.

Yep, it's such a bummer. Was really excited yesterday evening and then I woke up today and remembered we're not getting it. We could get it some time early next year or never. SCEE works in mysterious ways.

Think only two of the initial games are on the Android Marketplace? Tractor Trails and Magic Arrows.
Will be interesting to see how distinct the offerings remain if and when volume ramps up. I guess the dev environment currently is discouraging ports though.

Super Crate Box with buttons is sooooo good. At this point I'm convinced the Vita is the most versatile handheld ever. Love it.
Well if you look at the Amazon store or Xperia play store it should give you an indication I think. Although that seems completely random tbh (Jetpack Took a long ass time to jump from the Amazon store. Cod Zombies thing was like a month or so)

The way it is being pitched to developers is, "sell your iOS games/apps on Android without fear of piracy", I guess eventually they will allow all the major apps on as well if it takes off and people prefer to use the PSN store rather than Play (which seems unlikely).
They'd be stupid to launch with a ton of ports, really
