Wow, as an outside observer, both of your nominees sound horrible. I should start paying attention to Chinese politics as that's who's going to run the world after America's collapse.

One month until election and people are saying Romney has now displayed awesome vigor and is turning these states? Please. May sway a few undecides that are affected by that rhetoric.

Coin toss? Are you serious? Whoever starts doesn't go last, that's the way it works.

Tell that to Romney... he went first and last in many of those segments.

Romney was pretty good in the debate as far as sounding confident, but he said a whole lot of nothing and gave no specifics at all. Unfortunately, winning a debate is more about how you say something, and not what you say.

Didn't think Romney was horribad as GAF believes.

He did ok but you have to give this 24 hours to digest and all the details are analyzed. I am certain they will both take hits.

In the end Jim wins for being the poor old guy those two assholes were talking over. #PoorJim

Either I made up lies about the Boston Bomber or I fell for someone else's crap. Either way, I have absolutely no credibility and you should never pay any attention to anything I say, no matter what the context. Perm me if I claim to be an insider
Oh, I don't mean poor kids. I meant urchins.

No KO, but I think Romney won easily. Like 119-111 if it was a boxing match. Obama only won the health care part IMO.

Romney looked like he cared. Lots of lies, but passion, intensity, fluidity.
Obama was somewhere else. And that final speech was brutal.

It's going to be interesting to hear the reactions on tonight. Romney edged out on presentation (a huge surprise I think), but Obama clearly won on content and the facts.

Jim Lehrer just outright sucked. There was a moment of hope, but easy come easy go.

they both were mediocre, but Romney clearly performed a little stronger. I feel like we're feeding a narrative simply because expectations were so low, but I think even if expectations were static we'd reach the same conclusion. Obama rambled a little too long, didn't take the clear hits when they were available to him (47%, flip-flopping, hitting back on the 716b), and even though he remains looking cool and presidential, ultimately was not convincing altogether.

Romney clearly rehearsed his answers hard, and it shows by the way he was comfortable delivering his one-two punches, but he was also evasive, rude and awkward at times. That said, he passed the "looks presidential" bar and will gain a few points in the polls before the race stabilizes again. But he needs a game changer... it is clear now, there was no game changer.

Romney won, but debates haven't been shown to really move the polls. This year will especially be bad because people are so entrenched and there are far fewer people who are undecided.

I expect a one, maybe two point bump.

Oh god, that closing statement is bringing out the Romney I know.

His eternal smirk, his little bounces he does when he makes inflections, his lip smacks, ...

Mitt, you can keep lying about Medicare all you want. AARP communicates with the elderly daily and clearly about what both of your plans exactly are.
