Does anyone need a Landscaper? I'm getting fired. Lol

Days like these...

Have a Blessed Day
Long story short. In January I would be with my current employer 6 years. Never been put on a coaching or PIP. Upper management came in on Friday informed me I was being demoted and getting a pay cut for Performance and that was that. Yesterday in my filenI find that there is final corrective action for performance waiting for me to sign that I was not told about.
I know what this is about in January I would be 80% vested in some money I have coming to me. So does anyone need a Landscaper? I do roofing and hang drywall too.

I always recommend folks to try to get into hotel/hospitality work. You seem handy and if you can find the right spot that needs a body in maintenance you can get in on an entry level gig where you can flex your experience. You seem to be taking it well, so you probably know the old saying 'don't stop moving forward'. If those miserable fucks would drop you at the holidays after the time you gave them then it was probably gonna be a shit job to hold on to in the long run. Keep ya head up!

I got fired from my "dream job" right before Christmas a few years ago, and right before a $12k bonus I would have received. Was a humbling experience. Really sorry to hear about your situation, but keep your chin up and you'll bounce back even better than before!

Thanks, I've been through a lot so this registers as a blip. Being angry about isnt going to make things any better. I'm the best worker they have they just don't want me vested at 80% so they demoted one month before that happened. I've cleaned up my resume and have started the job hunt. They put me on a final (without telling me about it I found it in my file waiting to be signed) they want to see drastic improvement in 90 days without even specifying where I'm not meeting job expectations. So I've got 3 months to find another job before I get the axe.

Sorry you're getting the short end of stick mate. Given your skillset, what about going into business for yourself?
I'm a super hard worker and I believe a job well done is reward in and of itself but I've never been very ambitious it's one of my many character flaws.
