I was referencing Marvel's specific mention that The Superior Spider-man is "darker"

And was replying to someone else that it's descriptors that all entertainment uses.

Not that people only produce dark and gritty stuff.

It's how they market things is what really bugs me. There has been subtle changes to his character no doubt and yeah i'm sure there's going to be something in 700 that makes sense to the pitch but damn, going from the right now fun spidey has a lot of shit on his plate but he'll deal with it to dark doesn't fuck around spidey sounds jarring. I can see his first interaction with Jonah leading to Peter knocking him the fuck out.
 
I really can't wait to turn this treatment in to my teacher and go home and read Batman. I need Joker in my life.

That Deadpool preview says either they're completely ignoring that HUUUUGE NEW CHANGE from Way's "Dead" arc where Deadpool loses his healing factor, or it's been restored.

Spider-Man 700 is going to be $7.99 and 104 pages. Going out with a bang, so GAF is doing their part and making a big deal out of it. Or not.

There's no way that's not Peter Parker, they would have made much of a bigger scene about it. Don't you remember Ultimate Spider-man.

It's probably going to be either Peter killing doc ock and starting killing people, or Aunt May dying and pretty much the same thing happening.
Either way, it's bullshit. At least we still have Ultimate Spider-man.

Wanda was great as it is impossible for her not to be. I 100% get the point of that encounter with Rogue. Yes, she did horrible stuff, she lost it, tragedy followed, but at one point you have to stop just feeling bad and start doing something to make ammends. Cyclops is not under arrest because she did something that had tragic consequences, as this is part of being a super hero, he is locked up because he is a threat. Now she is better, she is focused, responsible and the most beautiful woman ever to exist in real life or fiction (except when my girlfriend cosplays the Scarlet Witch, but I won't get into that... yet). Scott, tho, he still have that messiah complex and while he doesn't chill, it is really better for everyone that he stays locked up.

But he won't. I give it until the end of the year before Magneto breaks him out.

insert some other quote on change here. Sometimes I feel like I don't belong because I don't get mad at writers developing comics or characters in different ways. I can't tell if that is good or bad yet.

I haven't gotten a chance to check out Uncanny Avengers yet. Writing papers and no enthusiasm to do it does not make for a good combination. I'll try to get to it later tonight.
