Enjoyable so far. A bit uneven in some of the writing, but better than anything I've read from Matt Fritchman. :X
Speaking of which, kryptonian I looked into the Davis JiM issues. Fritchman being involved is a bigger no-no for me.

One of my first comics was a holographic cover X-Men. That's why, to this day, I will never abandon the X-Men OR holographic shit.

My first comic ever was from my uncle at age 7 and it was a KICK*SS folodout hologram of Gambit.
The story was complete garbage but man the shiny explosions! The awesome poses! I think Magneto was there too!

Any interruption to the Peter Parker = Spider-man status quo will last a year at most. Might as well get worked up over the death or resignation of a member of the Fantastic Four.
I caught up on Batman, reading issues 12, 0 and 13. Good issues, but the timeline stuff bothered me in 12. I'm not sure why DC feels the need to condense all of Batman's history to 6 years. To keep Bruce Wayne under 30 and "relatable" or something? The guy has a 10 year old son.
Since they are not throwing out much of the old continuity, a beginning point 10-12 years back would have made more sense. That would have given Dick time to have been Robin and to have grown up, and for each of his successors to have more than 6 months in the role. As it is, all of these Bat Family characters are supposed to have had a rich history with Bruce, yet all of them have known him for less than 5 years :/

Just two months of a forced avatar for the other party as long as said avatar doesn't violate the TOS. For instance, and I'm not trying to guide your pick, you could make me a wear a Nova avatar with Loeb's shiny bald head photoshopped on and I'd have you in a nice Slott/Spidey avatar with lots of cute little hearts floating about.

Oh. My stance is Peter Parker remains Spider-Man and the flip-side which I'm guessing you do support is someone else legit takes on the mantle. If anyone wants to stipulate further loopholes like whether or not something like an Ock/Peter merger would count for side A or B, be my guest.
Sure, you're on. But yo, if you feel like raising the stakes, let's say six months if it's Alpha, and until Slott is no longer writing the main Spider-Man ongoing if it's Doc Ock.

Hmmmm. . . I want to see this do well, but have no confidence in network television. Plus it's a Western which is a genre that, despite remarkable films, isn't super popular with audiences.
Hopefully it does well and Bunn can focus on making indie money. :3

I like it. Picked up the trade from the library. I need to finish reading it. I'm an easy mark for Westerns.
I think the art could stand to be a bit more textured and errrr. . . rendered in terms of detail and setting, but it's perfectly functional.
Cracks me up as my half-assed drawing buddy was shit talking the art in the FCBD issue I picked up. He did the same thing with Dustin Nguyen's run on Batman.
Every single time I tell him to bring me back pages that look better, and never see anything.
And that's why I booted him out of the studio back in the day. :|

This is getting ridiculous though....more books need to end to make room for new ones. I'll be dropping Action Comics when Morrison leaves, but picking up Man of Steel. UXF i might keep reading with Humphries book. Secret Avengers will probably be dropped when Remender leaves. All New X-Men is a toss-up based on the first arc and whether or not the issues sell on ebay. I'll be adding New Avengers and Young Avengers too

i should say "not currently ordering" since i have the 0 issue unread and it depends on how much i like it.
my last ordered issue of GL New Guardians, #0, was okay, had a couple nice moments, but the idea of Kyle going Avatar style and trying to master the other rings doesn't seem that appealing for the future arc.
