Don't mean to come across like a dick but.. :/
Working in a mall and passing this store almost every day makes me ponder about this company and its customers a lot. More than it should really :/. One of the things I always found interesting about this company is not only of course the models all look rather similar, but i've found it interesting that people that walk into my store with abercombie bags will say somewhat homophobic stuff [I guess out of habit and not outright hatred..or whatever], yet are carrying a bag with a half naked young mans abs or other body parts on their stuff. It's an odd world we live in

Totally agree. How fucking boring and non-sexual.
edit: Abrecombie and Hollister have a not-so subtle racist, homophobic and classist undercurrent. And as a fashion brand their clothes are fucking ugly with no style appealing to that suburban preppy shit who will pay for overpriced polos and plaid shirts.
Nothing wrong with that, I'd likely do the same if they lived anywhere near my school. Currently in a house of 10 (myself included), so dishes can get nasty when people don't do their part.
Just the on-campus fitness centre at school, only $15 for a 12-month membership which is pretty rad.

Haha yeah, the dishwasher has been a trooper this past year and a half. It's technically two units (7-person main house and 3-person basement apartment) but we're all friends from freshman year so it's more of a big 10-person place.

Nobody shares rooms, and almost everyone gets their own bathroom (I share with one other person via a Jack and Jill bathroom, and one other bathroom upstairs is shared by two other people). For a 3-storey townhouse it all worked out really nicely, and the rent's a steal. I think I'll be sticking around here a while longer despite wanting to move closer to downtown.

Oh absolutely. The store's standards of beauty and attraction is to a point twisted. There is nothing wrong with loving that body type at all or any,but that store idolizes that shit to the point that its easily has a presence of trying to impose a type of supremacy above any other other types of body image or types of people, whether its body size, body hair(hell even haircut FFS) or racial and ethnicity(even considering the tolken black guys and like 2 asian guys).

Reminds me of my second place I moved to when I was 20. Two story house/flat above a store in Kensington Market. Two bathroom, 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and rooftop patio. Rent was ridiculously cheap...like $200 a month. Some wild parties were had though...

Oof! I know a few people who keep lucking out on places $400 or under, I'd be happy enough with that but $200 would be the holy grail. Just gotta dig for them I guess. Not sure if I want to share a place though, I think I might have had my fill of housemates for a little while...

Try doing dishes for a platoon of about thousand (or maybe even more than that, I really didn't count) soldiers; three times during one day (breakfast, dinner, supper). One meal equals at least about 1.5 hours of dishes

I try to stick to American Eagle for most of my clothes and occasionally Abercrombie & Fitch for some winter apparel. I've never bought stuff from Hollister but definitely have the potential to get something out of their stores, since they have dressing rooms with doors that go all the way to the floor... make of that what you will.

I like to buy my clothes at Express. Their normal prices are hilariously absurd, but when they have their seasonal transition sales where everything is much, much cheaper, I bring along a coupon and utilize my military discount for even more savings.
And even after all that, both sides win because I look awesome and they still make a profit.
