A-Babies vs. X-Babies was already on my buy list for this coming week, but it was seeing that preview yesterday that sold me.

As for Ramos, I loved him on Impulse & Crimson.
 
I would pay good money for Skottie Young to draw some DC characters. Love those baby variant covers. Brah is a fuxking art good like Aja and Jim Lee. The game is about to change. The revolution will not be televised.
 
Okay. . . so after I finish this second coloring book gig, I'm working on a short story for a self published anthology with someone from another forum.

I was thinking more on my desire to pitch something Cavewoman related to Budd Root, but outside of drawing a pretty woman and lots of dinosaurs I'm not sure if I could write anything worth a damn.

Yeah, it's Cavewoman - but I'd like to do something entertaining. I'm not thinking I could create an analysis and deconstruction of time travelling cave women Alan Moore style or something. :P

Well I went to Wiki too look this up since I had never heard of it before now and well...yea. Maybe you could turn it into a revenge flick or something. Nazis were flug back in time and killed all of the people she cares about in the confusion of them winding up in the past and she has to hunt them down and find them. You could have Nazi's on triceratops and she could ride a T-rex.

LOL - nah.

It was a fun series when Budd was doing it and lately it's been nothing but a pure guilty pleasure, but with minimal dinosaurs.

I've got an idea more in keeping with the old school run if Mr. Root would allow me to play with his toys and I can actually get it done.

You have to enjoy stuff like One Million B.C. and Caveman to appreciate Cavewoman. If you're the "Graphic novels are literature" set, then yeah - that's like seeking high protein in a Twinkie brah. :P

Now that I see it, it's double hilarious because he's running from the PHOENIX of all things. Basically Nova is so hell-bent on his YOLO he will actively flee any cosmic entity that tries to tell him otherwise.

Also on Nova's list of beings who do not YOLO to avoid:
Jesus Christ.
Doctor Who.
Aunt May.

Well I can't say I've ever read it, but from what I can tell it's just tits and dinos. Maybe I'll pick some of it up if you think it's worth it, but it really just sounds like lots of tits and a few dinos.

Yes, you do need to have an appreciation for tits and dinosaurs; and I would strongly suggest sticking to the original series and Rain. Those are the two that Budd Root did until completion, I believe Pangean Sea petered out near the end.

All the new stuff by Rob Durham and Devon Massey is pretty -- well I still buy it, but I really wouldn't suggest it to anybody else.

I'm stupid like that.

Rather than wish for Red Hulk to be cool again, I'm more concerned with Cavewoman being fun and cool again. :\

It's an edit. However, since in the original he says "Epic Fail" after the Phoenix destroys a planet, YOLO is a marked improvement.
 
Nah, those are just hipster stockings. They put little Steve away, now dad's going to make popcorn, while she loads up the DVR of that zombie TV show.

Well, he was a thief before and also when he had to duel his brother, he was the victor so all the monies Barney stole also went to him. So he probably has a nice couple of bank accounts with cash I'd think.
 
Just read the first 3 issues of Hawkeye. Really amazing stuff, and it's actually the first marvel series I'm up to date on. Yay.

But then I read that there's gonna be a new artist for the next issue. Nooooooo. :(

Hopefully I'll check out more Marvel books now. This has been the only thing that's really gotten me interested in marvel books.

No worries, guest artist is only for 2 issues (4&5) and then Aja will be back.

You can find some previews on the major comic sites & on David Aja's blog.

I happened to dig the look, kinda reminds me of Allred actually.
