With the release of the Iron Man 3 trailer it has made me realize I have never read any Iron Man with Mandarin in it. Any notable issues I can grab from Comixology?

Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Haunted, and if you can be bothered (cause it's long and kinda buh as it goes along), Invincible Iron Man, not sure which trades specifically...but its like 2010/2011 stuff.
The current arc of Invincible Iron Man is about him too and it's pretty good. Then again, I'd recommend the whole Fraction run. With the release of the Iron Man 3 trailer it has made me realize I have never read any Iron Man with Mandarin in it. Any notable issues I can grab from Comixology?

Yeah, I really feel like it tapered off toward the end. Never found myself excited at any point during this latest arc.Fraction run was pretty sweet, but it kinda got boring towards the end. Right now it's in crazy landlast issue tomorrow!
So I've been thinking about Superior Spider-Man a bit after I re-read ASM issues 680-687.
In 680 or 681, letters to the editor section, Wacker does say ask how they could change Spider-Man more, then goes on to say that maybe "Peter Parker's time as Spider-Man is over."
Then I read through Ends of the Earth, and in the final fight against Octavius, when he says that he wants Spider-Man to live through the aftermath of the Octavian lens, he notes that is his "dying wish." Certainly, that could mean nothing and be entirely coincidental, but ASM 700 is called Dying Wish... I feel like that's intentional. What it points to, I'm not sure, but.
I enjoyed the hell out of them. The three arcs (third one incoming) are essentially Kevin Smith and his friend/artist Walt Flanagan's love letter to the Batman they grew up with. Everybody always posts that piss-in-the-batpants scene to try and knock the story but it's such a small thing and it actually works in the context of the larger narrative.

Missed that comixology sale by 40 minutes....eventually I'll get it somewhereDid I mention I caught up on The Sixth Gun? Behind only the BPRD-i-verse for best genre comic worldwide. If it wasn't for Chris Ware, they'd be the best comics ever.
Stupid Chris Ware.
Oh come the f*ck on, Marvel.
On the flip, I'll take delays with consistency in artwork over fill-ins by every available intern any day. But this is still a terrible way to start things off with what is supposed to be your flagship title.
I'm getting into comics with ComiXology, mainly to read the new Masters of the Universe series. Since then I've also picked up Planet Hulk and Marvel NOW Point One. It's a great way to read comics. Since apparently Avengers vs X-Men is what leads up to the Marvel NOW quasi-relaunch (it's kinda confusing...), I figured I'd go back and read that before I get into the new Marvel NOW stuff. The problem is that the regular AVX series isn't available on ComiXology. I downloaded the Marvel iOS app and it is on there, but holy shit are they expensive.
Is this how they roll? They put out some stuff on ComiXology to get you interested, then lure you into their own app and charge 4-5 bucks per book? I don't have a problem spending $20ish on a big collection like Planet Hulk, but five bucks an issue is madness.

Also ^^^ Invincible is great!
A couple of quick things:
1- Wonder Woman continues to be the best book from DC, along with All-Star Western
2- Daredevil continues to be the best book from Marvel along with Hickman's FF series
3- They killed Cassie?! WHEN DID THIS BS HAPPEN?!!? DAMNIT MARVEL!
4- Don't be hatin' on me GAF

Don't be hatin'
EDIT: Oh and quick GAF, is this worth getting? I LOVE Kirby's OMAC, and want to know if this collection has good paper quality or such-

Cassie died during Children's Crusade I believe.
Damn, that's all the more troubling when you consider Inc essentially dropped a month this summer. My brutha, I ignore the haters I've enjoyed the comic and still do. I don't think Conquest appears until the later 50 issues, but this is still awesome on it's own ^o^.
BTW, WHERE'S MY NEW BATMAN INC, DC?!?!!?!?!?
What the f-, I need to reread that series =_= Guess I'll marathon the Young Avengers series in the next day or 2 as I have a few days off.
The teaser images(hurr) have been pretty blatant as far as what they want us to think is going to happen. I'm just happy that Mark is going to be back soon.Damn, that's all the more troubling when you consider Inc essentially dropped a month this summer.
As for Invincible, I'm totally dreading issue 100. I'm expecting some really crazy shit on that front.

Seriously!
This fuckin' guy. . .
And this is after he spelled out his name in space with a bunch of planets. What a loser! LOL LOL LOL
Is Mephisto "DATASS" facing Thanos?! :O
Everybody just wants to be loved, even giant purple space monsters with a ball chin.I think he's cringing at the awkwardness.
I hope he'll stay. These teaser pictures are a bit too obvious to be exactly what they appear to be.The teaser images(hurr) have been pretty blatant as far as what they want us to think is going to happen. I'm just happy that Mark is going to be back soon.
The binding (gluing) is the usual shit but it's a thin book. The paper is essentially the same as on the other Kirby collections (4th world, the Demon, Kamandi): old school rough paper, not glossy stuff. I love it because I think it fits the art.EDIT: Oh and quick GAF, is this worth getting? I LOVE Kirby's OMAC, and want to know if this collection has good paper quality or such-

Well, meaningful would be like Jean Grey in DPS and Planet X. Or Kitty Pryde in Giant Size AXM, or Colossus in the late 90s. Something that affects the characters, or future stories.
Cassie gets killed by Dr Doom, and it is literally never mentioned again. A close family friend and their babysitter, not to mention the daughter of a former member, is killed by Dr Doom and the FF goes on like nothing happened. Dr Doom was a member before and after he killed a 15 year old! So yeah, definitely meaningless IMO. I don't even remember if there was a funeral.
I can't help but notice that whenever a character someone likes dies, it is always "meaningless". What is a "meaningful" death, exactly? Does it constantly have to be sacrifice to be made alright? Wouldn't that be a little repetitive? Is this just another way comic fans like to say "I don't like this" without actually saying that much like "this is a boring character/story" is? Just a thought...
Scott Lang hasn't let it go in marvel now .1 clearly.
Great. His revenge is defacing Dr Doom's portrait... a whole 10 months after her death. So great that she died so we could get a cute 8 page story almost a year later.

In the case of children's crusade in particular, wouldn't it be hard to incorporate that story in the past books because of how long it took to conclude? If there was to be any lasting effect to really get in there, wouldn't it be better represented in marvel now's FF and young avengers books? It just doesn't seem fair if I am writing future foundation and my story is ready to go when suddenly I need to rewrite everything to match up to a story that has been going on for what feels like ages.
I obviously don't know when what story was written already, but it's just a thought I had.
uh lol isn't his revenge the whole point of ff and what that "cute 8 page story" is setting up
