I've got a couple of hobbies: video games, armature astronomy, comics, and building LEGOs. I also love anything to do with the paranormal or extraterrestrial. I figure if I can believe in a guy who died and came back to life after three days in a tomb I can believe in just about anything else.

As far as GAF goes I read any thread that seems interesting to me. It's an even split between Gaming and OT for me. Favorite game is Kirby's Adventure on the NES, first game I ever beat and the one that started my addiction.

I don't think Darksiders is dead, it did better than expected from what I have heard. Who knows though. As I am only contract and work from Iowa I don't get too much here-say.

I finished community college for my AA degree in Economics around August, and next year, I have decided to get a Bachelors in Computer Science( Information Technology). I'm unemployed, and living at the house by myself in Jacksonville while my mom takes care of her mom in Tacoma. My hobbies vidya games, movies, and stressing out about my future.

My social life is....limited. I have good friends that I try to hang with as much as possible, as I get depressed when I'm alone. No girl friend, but I'm really trying to change that, as I have been working out since march ( was around 180ish, now at 155 lb).

28, lived most of my life here in Virginia Beach, but was born in Germany. My wonderful mom is British and lives in London and I miss her. My wonderful sister was born here in VA but having spent enough time over in London now has grown an accent and now sounds so strange to me! She turns 19 in a few days, which is weird to me too.

Spent some time in college, couldn't figure out what I wanted to do, partied too much, currently not doing shit with my life. I've got a guinea pig and a cockatiel that are remnants from my last relationship(she decided she didn't want to take care of them) but I love em. I want a dog(or even a cat), but have other priorities that need taking care of first.

Outside of video games I like:

- Motorsports. Big one is F1. Diehard Ferrari fan. Also pretty big into MotoGP/Moto2/Moto3, World Superbikes/Supersport and GP2.

- Football. Pats fan(dad was from Boston).

- Soccer. Mainly follow Champions League and the international stuff.

- Music. Picked up a guitar around 13 and ended up giving up sports to play in bands and party and whatnot. Mostly play/listen to heavy stuff nowadays, but not exclusively.

- Reading. Used to read nothing but non-fiction, but have gotten into some good sci-fi and fantasy stuff lately.

On GAF, I probably spend 85% of my time in Off-Topic. Fantastic place to discuss any and everything with lots of cool people. I poke my nose into controversial topics when I can, stumble into Drunk-GAF once in a while, and stay away from F1-GAF cuz I have no sense of humor when it comes to Ferrari(lol). Spent a good amount of time in the Fitness/Weight-loss threads a while back when I was getting back into shape and need to do it again. My favorite topic is the funny pics of animals thread(Melchiah, you're awesome). Found an old childhood friend on here I haven't talked to in forever, which was cool.

Gaming-side, I'm a member of the Forza Car Club, am big on open-world games, recently became a Battlefield convert after several years of playing CoD, am currently addicted to Minecraft, and finally got a Wii, which is awesome.

A) Dinosaurs really aren't my area of expertise, but they are still really badass
B) I was actually terrified of snakes long before I ever got interested in archaeology
C) I've actually fought a Nazi.

Whenever I'm not bogged down in school work and research, I enjoy video and table top games, comics, writing, hiking, jogging, and movies. But that's all boring and typical. I also used to fence and have been looking for an opportunity to start back (epee for life, yo). My newest hobby is brewing beer, which even has its own branding: Intelligent Discussion! This summer, I'll be adding the married life to my list of hobbies, when I finally tie the knot with my girlfriend of five years.
