Assassin's Creed III: Liberation |OT| VITA LA REVOLUTION

Just ordered the vita bundle. I'll get AC3 when it's half price on black friday like every other AC game has been. Between this, corpse party, Persona 4 and the uncharted game I inadvertently ordered at launch I already have a Vita backlog.

How are the graphics?

Better than Uncharted I'd say. The city is huge (apparently) and I haven't noticed popping, distant objects and buildings are blurried in a pleasant way, lots of npcs (not like ps3 games but we are talking handheld here) and Aveline runs fast.

Framerate? I'm not an expert, 30 maybe?

Tiamant, this is probably a weird request: But could you change your vita-language setting to English and check if the game comes with full english support? I assume you have a European, non-uk copy.

Your answer decides if I can buy the game locally or need to import it from the uk.

Aprox 35 seconds for first loading, haven't loaded anything else yet, everyhting seems to go smooth.

i second this request ...

Every post from Tiamant makes it more likely I will pick up Liberation over Ragnarok Odyssey next week

Game looks nice

You're kidding me. I have to choose between this, Ragnarok, and NFS. I'm leaning NFS at this time but two meaty games like this and Ragnarok would do some good. So conflicted.

I'll try it now :)

I'm loving the color palette, feels very different from others AC and New Orleans feels really... fresh.

I expect a mini review from those that have it in, in 5 hours after you had time with the game. This wasn't on my radar. But my Vita is hungry.

Is the sub-res resolution as notable as in, say, Gravity Rush, or is it more like Uncharted (which I didn't mind since it looked amazing anyway)?

I suspect it wouldn't be as noticeable as Gravity Rush simply because the art is nowhere near as high contrast. The cell shading and aesthetic of GD suffers greatly with a lower resolution and lack of AF.

Yeah, if you compare these two screens you can see a pretty big difference in perceived image quality.

This looks amazing!

Two questions:

* What is that currency unit? It looks like either an e with an acute accent or (maybe) a cursive lowercase L.

* Did Ubu actually translate the wanted posters into each language, or is it just coincidence that you're playing the game in Spanish and the sign is also in Spanish? (In AC2, we got "Morte e Vivo" in Italian no matter what language we played the game in.)

Oh, this escort mission just changed into Metal Gear Creed, interesting...

UNGHHH, so if you hate escort missions this is your lucky day, timed escort missions! :/

Reading that digital manual section about the multiplayer makes me even more confused. Doesn't sound like a traditional multiplayer though, which is a little bit of a bummer.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but that reminds me of Peace Walker's base building stuff. A shame there isn't any traditional multiplayer, but that said something is better than nothing.
