just read godzilla 2 and copped issue 3. james stokoe is too good, i can't wait for sullivans sluggers to drop.

I recently got the Batman: The Black Mirror hardcover. It's the greatest Dick Grayson Batman Story before Bruce came back. It's in Detective Comics.

Also why doesn't ComicGAF go community?

i'd be down to move comicgaf to community. sure feels like it.

the black mirror is super awesome.

Making them thicker doesn't really make sense.

Yeah...James Mangold is a good director but frankly I have no faith in the movie. I probably won't even see it in a cinema unless word of mouth is really positive.

I like this idea...

Someone like Spike or Bandit should talk about this with a mod. Certainly beats having a new thread every month.

That was in Origins...

For real???

I must have blocked that
shitty
movie from memory, I really don't remember anything of the sort.

Then there's this..

Sending post-sex honeymoon pictures to his former teacher.

HARSH. But still not Ben Franklin.

Realest shirt ever.

About what though? The guy went Dark Phoenix. No really, can someone explain to me how decades later Jean still will never live down Dark Phoenix but Scott Summers is hailed as a fucking hero for it? He abused a cosmic power and acted like a super villain. How does Iron Man, who at least had a good point, get blasted and bombarded for Civil War, but Scott, who wanted to force horrible mutations on a population without their consent and welcomed the use of a power which has destroyed suns and worlds, opened gateways to Hell, and blown peoples minds to tiny pieces get to be a hero?

How about this one?

That one's better. Especially the dig at Scott's creepy Jean fetish.

So many goodbyes this week. Brubaker on Cap. Fraction on Iron Man. Hickman on FF books. Gillen on Asgard books.
Dang. I feel old.

Damn. I just remembered the Morlocks. I feel bad for those people.

The whole world suffered because she's got severe daddy issues and is in love with her brother. We all knew there was a problem when this fool not only married a robot, but tried to have babies with it.

I dont think shes in love with pietro in the 616. Or vise versa.

The "Cyclops is a dope" t-shirt sold out in five minutes.

I seem to have lost my Batman: Arkham Asylum by Grant Morrison TPB, that was my first Batman TPB I ever bought =/

All that needs to be said really. Funny thing is it doesn't show the repercussions of this entire thing. As an example when Wanda wished for no more mutants, some people were flying at the time, lost their powers and died.

Now what if say normal joes were doing something like say....flying an airplane full of people and they suddenly get hit with phoenix mutant jump starting juice and they pass out...and the plane crashes killing everyone on board. Or some people just flat out die.

Only reason people are saying Cyclops was right is because deep down they know dude is a wack as shit and always has been. Superman complex without the powers, he's a normal dude who can shoot lasers out his eyes. But we're suppose to believe he can go toe to toe with some of Marvel's best when Storm whooped his ass in hand to hand combat? lol right.

Marvel needs to kill this dude off, X-Men would be better for it.

Kill him? What?
They need to give him his own book:
Cyclops and the Brotherhood.

Finally got around to reading this week's haul:

Batman Inc 4 - Great, fun read with an ending that builds up good amount of hype for the next issue.

Revival 4 - Out of every series I'm following, this one would benefit my experience the most if I waited for the trade/first arc of floppies to end. I love the setting, the story, and the art but it's becoming pretty difficult to follow with no many things going on and not much of a recap.

ASM 696 - Another fun read that prolonged
Spideys secret identity from the public
... for now. With only a few issues left and it being pretty clear what's happening with the new series, this may be the last close call we see.

Invincible IM 527 - Pretty average issue as expected. If any book can benefit a great deal from a creative team shakeup it's this one. I'm excited to see what Gillen will do with Shellhead despite Land.

Flash 13 - As much as I enjoy the art, the story keeps getting shittier and shittier. I can already tell I'm not going to like this arc at all and it's only the start. Probably dropping this until the next one starts unless something changes to prompt reviewer hype.

I'm actually excited for Justin Jordan's Deathstroke. His Luthor Strode was phenomenal, and so far Team 7 has my interest. The Newsarama article has me ready.

ended up ordering that ipad 3 refurb from apple for $379....45% chance i return it out of buyers remorse. I've never had an ipad, i hope the slave laborers did a good job.

this post couldn't be more horse shit.

Wasn't Cyclops killed off already once before?

I think the character has mostly been pretty boring too, but I'm liking the post AvX prisoner Cyclops and am interested to see where this leads and how the young Cyclops/current Cyclops meeting is going to turn out.

I know you're a big Cyke stan, but I'm sorry. He does have a superman complex, and it's annoying as shit. His better than thou attitude annoys me to no end. He's got a huge daddy complex and has basically been given everything on a silver platter. Don't get me wrong he's had his moments, but as a character he's boring. The faux angst he has annoys me, his entitlement attitude annoys me, his holier than thou attitude annoys me. What Cyclops needs is a big fucking dose of real humility. No this current imprisonment is not said humility, because even then after all he's done he still has this pompous attitude.

Someone under your banner goes and destroys an entire country and people praise you and says he's right? lmao, I don't even.

If he's a villain I'll take it.
