Yes, but it's in the vein as the older PSO games so it's more instanced, if that makes sense? It's a great game, really hoping it comes stateside because the new one looks even more amazing, plus having it on Vita will be the best.

Well I haven't played PSO2 yet but if it's anything like the first game I would hardly call it an MMO. The focus was more intimate. There wasn't a persistent online world as much as there were basically big interactive chat rooms for you to organize teams with. The entirety of the game essentially took place inside instanced dungeons.

Really if it weren't for the lobbies I don't think anyone would have called it an MMO because it really, really isn't.
 
Too bad this thread is almost forgotten, the game list needs to be better organized(at the beginnig it was, i suggest to remove the covers/titles images and regroup certain categories of games, the list would look better and more uniform) and to be more often updated(it lacks of nobunaga's ambition and rainbow moon for example).

I would suggest to sort the games by release date instead of alphabetically.

I agree. It's not like the OP hasn't updated it, there are lots of new confirmations on it but I think it does need to be more concise and easier to read. I don't mind the box art so much as the fact that some of them are gigantic, perhaps throw them all into quotes to shrink 'em down? I'd also suggest possibly grouping them into months to make them easier to read.
 
are there any must have games for playstation mobile store? Super Crate Box is awesome.. so is Hungry Giraffe...

or PSN games... is there a thread dedicated to these mini games?

I do like this thread though because it has a ton of games, you know? All of the games rather. I wish these forums weren't so archaic, so we could organize them better. The OP has been updated so it's pretty accurate.
 
I personally like this thread. I'm usually so out of the loop when it comes to upcoming games and such. The little screenshot is a nice touch too..

Whoa. Nice update. Maybe I'm crazy but 2013 is looking pretty strong. Definity looking forward to PSO2, God Eater 2, Soul Sacrifice, Tear Away, Killzone, and Corpse Party at the very least.
 
What are the chances of a North American publisher picking up God Eater 2? I just watched the trailer and am kinda hyped. There'll be online play for this, yeah?

I'm also pretty eager for new Dragon's Crown footage. Don't think I've seen anything since its initial reveal.

God Eater 2 does have both Online and Local (ad-hoc) co-op, so that's nice. Being released here is very likely, D3 Publisher are releasing Earth Defense Force Vita this January, but we'll see.

Sweet. I tried some of the original on PSP and enjoyed the universe, but it was difficult to get into the game playing solo. Online + what appears to be even faster action this time around has me excited.

Excited for a Vita game, who'da thunkit?

It went into development after Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix started but was announced first. Sony probably pressured Square into announcing it well before it was ready.

Thinking about that, it's pretty sad that Sony pressure can only get a multi-platform HD port from a company as integral to the fabric of PlayStation platforms like Square Enix. : /
