Do you want to wander around the ancient cities of Jerusalem and Rome? Or better yet, we could set you up in the woods behind your house. We got some empty wooden houses back here.

They said that they were in uncharted story territory. Ryan hasn't even finished the game. Don't watch if you don't want spoilers, cause they won't know what is coming up.

I think that's a lot of what's boring me. Swinging around tree branches is pretty repetitive. And from I read the cities aren't too interesting either.

I was really hoping that the next AC game would take place in France, tbh. The architecture, French Revolution, etc.

Was the combat always this bad? I swear I remember the enemies at least trying to stab at you before

and I say this Ryan dies to these guys so...

It's always been bad but with the 'new' combat system, it feels like the slow combat of the original games but trying to emulate Sleeping Dogs or Batman, and AC games are NOT responsive, so that's not a great idea.

God, the way Ryan plays really turns me off from this. I am sure it will play better in my hands down the line.

LOOK AT THE RACCOON!

I'm a little glad I waited for it to get to budget price now.

Wait a minute. There're no HP bars or anything? It's all regenerating health or something? I hate that red screen/critical health bullshit.

HP is on the side of the radar....but it does look like he had full health after that battle was over.

Really wish they had a set plan on what to play. It was an interesting approach but it just didn't work for this. It did show some bugs.

The forest stuff looks awesome...the city stuff looks way too open and boring. Kinda lost the awesome city feel of earlier games by putting it into a boring city.

Also, combat looks as clunky as it did in AC1. Can they not work out something better and more involving than having 10 dudes circle you until you kill them all. 9/10 have guns and they stand 2 foot away from you waiting to die.

Will wait for some more reviews but will probably skip this one for a bit. I have way too many games still on my list to do. :D

Shame that the glitches seemed so prevalent between the horse and that scripting error.

Seems like there is a good even great game somewhere in there, but it really needs more time. Who knows, maybe some patches down the road will alleviate some problems.

I don't think Ryan did an especially good job of showcasing the game. Hardly any of the cities were shown, no naval battles, and end game cutscenes. He just seemed very unprepared.

Oh well.

It got him 1 hour closer to being done with the game. I really think that was the point of how they went about this.

I'm a little surprised by how the game showed here I think this might be the first AC I don't buy. I just wasn't feeling it and I was so excited since I felt I could draw parallels between it and RDR.

I'm amazed at how high the average rating for this game is after seeing that quick look.

It really did look pretty bad, lots of little graphical glitches, animation glitches, clipping issues, pop-in, framerate issues. Even gamebreaking scripting errors, all in the span of time they had to showcase the game.

Also the game's texturework is just not good. I sure hope the PC version can remedy this, because at the moment I don't think I want to play this even if I got it for a great price.

I haven't even gotten started about these gameplay streamlines they talked about.

While I'm wary of using another's playstyle to cast judgement upon a game (although Sleeping Dogs didn't impress me either after I had played it), that QL made Assassin's look like a fucking train wreck and not just due to scripting bugs or other weird idiosyncrasies that are seemingly forgiven in this day and age of day 1 patches.

Forgive me if this has already been asked, but did they play with the patch? The game supposedly has major bugs and glitches without the patch.
