Firstly sgt Johnson looks pretty old when he eats it, secondly in a universe of extended cryosleep and FTL travel, age is literally relative.

Really enjoying the series so far. The characters are believable, the story is compelling. It's all pretty great. One thing that did get on my nerves was the over use of slow motion. That's something I really don't like.

Over all, after seeing this I definitely feel that Halo deserves a feature length full budget film. Not really sold on the story following the chief, but the universe has so much they can work with.

Anyway, I can't wait for the next part.

Just watched episodes 1-4 yesterday. Something felt weird with Chief's voice. Perhaps because they didn't add insane amounts of bass to it? I hope episode 5 contains over the top badassness like in the Halo 3 and 4 CG trailers.

Effect achieved: I'm totally pumped for H4. As an aside, my wife who doesn't care about the universe and is mostly there to beat alien dudes down and blow shit up really liked it and the universe it describes in more details than the games.

Also, as someone constantly bitching about the lackluster curation of online services such as XBL or PSN, I really appreciate what 343 have been doing with waypoint, particularly having FUD so quickly available.
