Some Facebook gems from my southern family:

My Heart Hurts for our country ...!!! There are more people ridding the wagon than pulling it and its going to just worse for us who have jobs ...I must say ...u come for my gun/s u won't get it/them till I'm out of bullets ...!!! God b with us all ...!!!

Really worried about this country. Too many people trying to get hand outs voted. I am truly in disbelief. Well let's see how much more in debt this country can get in the next four years.

There is absolutely no reason for any of us to VOTE unless we live in the states that hold the electoral votes!!!!! It's a waste if time!!!

It's really nice to see "Barack Obama Re Elected President" on Fox News.

fox news is now my favorite channel

ahahahahahahahhaah

this is great

Wow at Rove still not understanding how this process works.

Any updates on the same sex-marriage issue?

The ban on SS marriage is losing in MN at the moment. Ramsey(St. Paul) is just about done voting but Hennepin(Minneapolis) still has half the vote out. It's about 50-46% no but the people who didn't cast votes on the issue are counted as NO so it's about 54% in favor of Marriage equality. Local news I haven't gotten a chance to see what the house/state has done in flipping back to the Democrats. Our Governor supports Same-Sex marriage so if both houses flip back(about 5 seats apiece)...I'd assume they go with Marriage Equality in the next 2 years. =)

Obama wins!!!

Up yours teabaggers.

It looks like your sweetheart candidate, Todd Akin was handed a legitimate defeat by a woman who by all accounts should have lost.

Mourdock's defeat was also a case of the teahadists reaching too far. Lugar would have probably won another term but was given the boot by these fetus worshippers.

Fuck you evangelicals. Fuck you prolifers.

Tonight, I dine on fetus soup:-)

P.S., does anyone have news on Michelle Bachmann's race?

I love this argument by idiots out there that many people voted for Obama because he's black? But then, they didn't vote for Romney because he's white? Stupid.

Karl Rove still in denial. I don't know if it's sad or funny. :lol

Next stage of grief should hit him in a couple minutes.

The two-part referendum first asked voters if they wanted to change Puerto Rico’s 114-year relationship with the United States. A second question gave voters three alternatives if they wanted a change: become a U.S. state, gain independence, or have a “sovereign free association,” a designation that would give more autonomy for the territory of 4 million people.

With 243 of 1,643 precincts reporting late Tuesday, 75,188 voters, or 53 percent, said they did not want to continue under the current political status. Forty-seven percent, or 67,304 voters, supported the status quo.

On the second question, 65 percent favored statehood, followed by 31 percent for sovereign free association and 4 percent for independence.

51st state incoming?
