As an aside I played about 5 hours of Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri last night when I couldn't fall asleep after staying up for election coverage. The UN elections and warring ideological factions made me kinda chuckle in context of all the political hub bub of late. Miriam and the hive dude were both supreme dicks, lol

the more obvious it becomes that they are about to become a minority the angrier and more outspoken people are going to get.
they defended their far right outspoken positions as being reasonable by looking to popular opinion. they woke up today to see that they can't really do that anymore. rage rage against the dying light. they didn't see how far from center their positions were, because their candidates often won.
the anger is coming out because there is nothing they can do to change the trend that is now apparent. America isn't the country they thought it was. they put faith in this election being the turn around, being the start of the journey taking America back to the country they thought it was... but that didn't happen.
this President who they truly believed was hated and weak. who they truly believed made for an easy enough target that their party could be more outwardly right wing and win the election won comfortably. in a weak economy. where the economy is apparently the biggest issue. against someone viewed to do well with the economy.

Something Reagan started in the 80's but Faux news told their viewers Obama started it and that it is bad. Welfare gives you a cell phone with limited minutes per month.
