As an Iraqi-America, this one is particularly satisfying to me. Ignorance and bitter tears is a fine mix.
Good piece. I often wonder if it's always been like this, or that the internet and social media make our differences in opinion stand out more. I'd like to think that this is just a recent development, but at the same time I don't think this stuff happens overnight. We just had natural filters that shielded us from the chaff.

The day to day dealing of the President hardly affect the average person, yet they keep thinking their getting fucked, even if quality of life is identical to under Bush. Sad to say but the non voter who doesn't give a shit probably lives longer and happier lives.

Ahahaha...a "libertarian" friend (who only ever criticized Obama) on Facebook has removed my access to his wall. In the past I've taken issue/argued with him...seems like last night was just too much. I had an even more conservative friend "quit" Facebook.
I don't do FB much but for shits and giggles, I posted the picture...you know the one...it's the bottle of tears of republican rage.

Tell me about it, the people who say shit like this are usually lucky enough not to have any major problems and/or have great health care (most likely through their parents, which is helped by Obamacare). Health care is expensive as fuck even with great insurance if someone is unfortunate to have a bad condition.

Do Republicans really think the healthcare situation in this country is acceptable? That is always one of the main things I see people use to bash Obama and I just don't get it. Yet, they want to keep pouring money into a bloated military to protect you from an imaginary enemy on the outside, all while a huge number die from preventable and chronic illnesses from the inside. I guess since they are lucky enough to have decent insurance at the moment that makes everything a-ok.

That's the thing: he didn't. AFAIK the statement is pretty much the complete opposite of the truth: under Obama, the deficit has grown the least out of the last five or so presidents, and he said that the Syria attack was a terrorist attack in his initial statement. Tell him to stop watching Fox News.
