I don't get the impression it has anything to do with the money, if you pay attention to the things he is saying he doesn't seem all that upset with what happened. He seems unable to control his emotions in general.

There are lots of reasons someone might cry over something they aren't all that upset about be it a disorder, or going through depression. He could of had a death of a family member for all we know.

Even if there is no other reason, the people filming were mere bullies for mocking without any other information and what you cry over has no correlation with how much of a "man" you are.

It's weird seeing people try and pass this off as an "isolated incident" when it's stereotypical off and endemic in the FGC. While the recent boom in fighters has opened the "scene" up somewhat the FGC has a well earned reputation for being insular, juvenile and elitist. It's not quite so bad in person, but online it's toxic (shit after a decade or so slumming around SRK I've seen every mindless justification there is for that kind of behavious). No not everyone in the FGC is a dick, but its still nowhere near the "non-issue" that FGC apologists are making it out to be.
