I can only imagine how much the lives of these "friends and family" are about to be improved. Some people can completely change your world by doing you the courtesy of removing themselves from it.

This thread makes me sad....doesn't make me laugh :(

Is it bad that I feel bad for some of these people? I have very close relatives who are very conservative whom I love and talk with regularly. I know there are good conservatives out there.....why do the majority have to be so unloving? I just don't get it. Has it always been this way but they're out in full force now because of the recent strides of gay marriage and Democratic policies and other social issues? I just don't understand how people like the crazy YouTube lady actually believe we're becoming a socialist country.

Help me understand, GAF :(

I skidded today and the rear wheel of my SUV hit against the curb, now I think there is a bit of vibration coming from that wheel and I am kinda OCD about my car.

I must say this bugs me a lot more than Obama's reelection. So no tears from me guys, sorry.

Calling Sean Hannity a "pussy conservative" honestly makes me afraid of these kinds of people. If Hannity is a "pussy conservative" in their eyes, I'd hate to see what they consider a "real conservative".

They think it's bad because they've had good luck in life that they attribute SOLELY to hard labor and their fellow man, who may not have that good luck or privilege are, more often than not, pieces of trash that can get fucked before they wring a single red cent from their wallet. Any helping hands or other government funded practices they've partaken in also become invalid in hindsight, especially when I'm it was put to good use for them, but not all of the mooches, dirty brown people and welfare scammers!

I'm forced to collaborate once in awhile in my job and in Eastern Washington you'll meet more than a few crazy conservatives and in general even a lot of the democrats I know are far from really liberal. I'm very aware that not ALL of them are so bad, of course not, even I know a couple good ones but between the internet and real life experiences it's enough that I enjoy twisting the dagger once in awhile.

imo when you've got one side demonizing the other and launching a slew of ads detailing how horrible your life will be if the other guy is elected, of course you'll be pretty upset and angry if your guy loses. How could the people on the other side be so stupid? Haven't they heard what sorts of horrible things their candidate will do to the country? Why are they voting against their own interests? etc. etc.

+ Overtly religious/bible thumping politicians are usually mistrusted by the majority and pushed to the fringes (Cory Bernardi, Fred Nile, Steve Fielding). Out last PM was very religious but barely if ever mentioned it and the current Opposition leader does his best to hide his affiliation by wearing budgie smugglers and speaking very slowly in three word phrases. He's also a Rhodes Scholar but does his best to hide that as well.

+ Even funnier, out nominally conservative party, a typical Western European center-right Populist party is actually called the Liberal Party. Imagine these clowns turning up to Australia and being forced to choose between the Greens, the Labor party run by the afformentioned Living-in-sin Athesist woman and the Liberal Party. Their Tears would solve our water problems for a 1000 years.

I think their heads might explode realizing theres 3 parties and all 3 sound leftish to really left looool, I really want people to go to Canada and Australia and see the reactions. I know they'll never leave though.
