PS+ for PS Vita comes next week with FW 2.00, games revealed (WOW)

is this library going to be constantly growing or will it be changed (games replaced) from time to time? So if someone buys a vita in 2013 and gets ps+, will these games still be available to play?
Cycle over time with a different game replacing ones that expire. Games added to your download history will be there as long as you remain a ps+ member. You can accumulate quite a backlog easily.

Whatever it is will tank dramatically and soon as everyone rushes to trade in. At Amazon Uncharted is already at $8.70 and GR is about $6.

Looks like according to CAG Uncharted and GR are both at about $12 right now plus GS is running a trade 3 games get an extra $10, which is an excellent promotion for them to be running for those looking to trade these games. I would hurry for those going to trade because they will lower the TiV when they start getting an influx of these.

I got $18.90 from Amazon for U:GA three hours ago. Guess I wasn't the only one to think of that.

thanks for your response :) How long can we expect this particular package of games to be available? At least through the holidays?

Yup, Amazon can move quickly with their drops. GS on the other hand usually can only drop in the morning when systems update. Should be safe with GS till at least tomorrow. BB i'm not sure how fast they update.

Considering that I can get all the Vita games, the free Plus month I got just became probaly the single most valuable code I ever got in my life.

I have to ask, do some of you view this PS+ update for the Vita an acceptable compromise to a price cut?

I ask because, if you buy a $250 Vita, and a $50 PS+ subscription, you get the Vita, and $150 worth of games for free. I already own a Vita (3G/WiFi unit), but I have to say, if I wasn't an owner, this deal would probably push me over the fence.

You don't have to worry about buying a bunch of games with your system, you just have to get a memory card, of which I'm sure there will be better Black Friday deals for it. There will probably be some good Black Friday deals for the Vita itself.

Just added my bubbles for Uncharted and GR back to my vita for save upload to Online Storage and then immediate download again once the Digital Versions are up. Mwhahahaha.

So, everyone with a PS3 and PSN+ subscription should buy a used VITA, play the free games, then sell the used VITA for the same price?

Awesome.

Gravity Rush was in the running for my GOTY 2012, and is my pick for best OST of 2012. So enjoy the game people, and join up with the rest of us that are dying for a sequel.

So if I'm out and about with no wifi, I presume the vita won't need a licence check and should know I have a plus sub until xx/xx/xxxx?

Nope, no wifi needed. I already have Plus content on my vita. No worries.

From all of the stores ads I've looked through I have seen a total of zero Vita Memory card deals. And i've looked through Walmart, Kmart, ToyrUs, Sams Club, Target and Dell.

yes

I think we should add this to the OP lol

Every Plus thread needs to have an explanation added to the OP. I'm not even being a jerk about it. Everyone always has the same questions, and since Sony apparently hasn't been able to convey the message (I was SO confused coming out of E3), we should try to.

Yoshida already said as much. Or maybe Treton. One of them said that Sony engineers are working to reduce the cost of the Vita. Vita 2000 is guaranteed.

There's a big difference between reducing the cost and redesigning the console... You can reduce the cost of the hardware with tweaks to the chipsets and internals... I get the impression people are expecting some kind of radical redesign, and I don't think that's going to happen, at all... I don't think anyone who bought a PSP1000 was disappointed they didn't wait for the release of the PSP2000...

I sure was. The PSP 2000 was a whole lot better than the 1000. My friend is still holding out on a Vita in hopes that they redesign it to be like the PSP Go.

Question: if I get a PS+ subscription, Gravity Rush is free? But will the game delete after the three months are up?

It won't delete itself, but you won't be able to play it again unless you renew your PS+ subscription or purchase the unlock key.

I just realized something, this is going to destroy memory cards. I have a 32gb card and I'm sure it will be full in no time.

The fear should be that Sony drops the OLED screen for "Vita 2000."

IIRC they wanted a design like that but couldn't because of heat and other issues.

or makes it smaller

Not that big of a deal. Maybe Sony would allow us to get proper ASPECT RAIDOU.gif for PSP titles since they're blown up automatically with no option to downsize/proper aspect ratio them like the PSX emulator currently.
