In regards to PSN Store release...

"Sony has a release schedule that they adhere to and target games for exact release dates. All of our information and graphics for the PSN Store has been submitted and verified, we just don't have a scheduled release date from Sony yet. As soon as we have that date we'll announce it."
 
Thinking about playing Technika Tune in a year or so really makes me want to play some Portable 1. Too bad my hands are so goddamn cold, I can barely move my thumbs as it is.
 
Quick update regarding the release situation:

We apologize for the silence, but everyone here in the office has been extremely busy wrapping up things with Sony for the release of TUNE. We have a few more very minor loose ends to tie up before we can give an exact ship date, but we're well on track for release this month. We should hopefully have the exact shipping date sometime by the middle of next week.

In regards to the PSN digital release, Sony has it scheduled for hitting the PSN Store on December 4th. It'll be priced at $44.99 and requires at minimum a 4GB memory card to store it. If they end up delaying the game any further we'll be sure to let everyone know.

Also to note, there has been another small batch of cancellations on the limited edition. We'll be holding all of these until the date we get the games in stock, at which point we'll make any additional quantities available for sale.

Note: In the second paragraph it should read "If they end up delaying the digital release". The physical release and digital release are on completely different schedules at this point, and have entered the final production phases for their respective formats.

Was it always going to be $45 for the digital release? :O

Did they say whether they were putting the regular edition up on Amazon one day or not? I can't remember; been too long.

I doubt they have anything more to say about that until they actually know what their release date is.

Personal speculation: the fact it isn't already up suggests to me they weren't able to negotiate distribution to Amazon through publisher channels. This could mean they could list it on Amazon as a typical third party merchant, but this probably cuts their profit margin significantly selling it this way. This listing also could not happen until the game's actual release, since third party merchants can't specify release dates.
 
I hope physical release get shipped really soon because I'm going on vacation for a month starting Dec. 6 so if it won't get to my house before then no one is going to be home...

I'd suggest emailing Pentavision Global about it to make sure it'll get there in time.
 
Well, I guess late November is the expected physical release date then. Jeez, I really want to play this, what a pain in the arse.
 
What is the difference between:
U.S.P.S. Priority Mail International and U.S.P.S. Priority Mail International Small Flat Rate Box?

The 2nd shipping option is 50% cheaper, this delivery lowers it to around the price of the Asian versions on P-A.

Small flat rate box is only available if your items fit in that particular box size. It's the same delivery service otherwise.

And if we're talking the same boxes they use for Priority mail domestically, you could fit like 6 Vita games in there still. I've got one sitting on my desk right now.

Thats awesome, not sure why the 1st option is standard, that would cost me $35 for delivery.
 
If the digital release comes out before the physical one, then that's crazy. If there turns out to be no DLC for this then that will be like dumping a truck full of salt onto my torn up body.

I'm in the UK and just got my physical copy that I bought from ebay for £36. If there's ever a release over here i'll probably buy it again just for the DLC.
 
Does anyone else have problems with the multi beat drag notes?

My finger seem to grip to the Vita screen too easy always making me mess them up, especially the notes that go upwards or change direction. The ones that go downwards are no problem. My Vita doesn't have a screen protector on it wondering if getting one would make it easier.

I'm not using a screen protector either but am not having to many problems with them, only on fast paced songs where I tend to drag them to quickly and kill my combo that way which is a tad frustrating on a couple of songs. I'm having more trouble with the double notes, again mainly on hard songs.
Having to quickly move my hand to hit both notes at once can be quite difficult depending on the song and quite often I screw them up. I am slowly getting better at that though I can see me never managing to get a good rank on a couple of songs. Right now I am just trying to get the trophy for maxing out my combo bar. Up to 21,000 so far, only another 78,000 hits to go!

I should start checking out eBay. £36 or so is more than fine by me. If it comes to the EU I will fully expect it as digital only at this rate and a high price.
