ETA on people complaining about only getting two Vita games next month, while replacing two, instead just getting six again: 3 weeks, 6 days, 17 hours.

it's so early into the Vita's life, two a month would be pretty crazy. i expect multiple PSP games a month and 1 Vita game a month.

as part of the movie and tv service Viaplay (requires plus) now being available on PS3, all Playstation 3 owners in Sweden gets a free month of Playstation plus as of today

this might be available for PS3 owners in other countries in Scandinavia as well

Do you have a link to this offer or is it automatic?

Lol, Valkyria Chronicles 2 is still the price it was back in 2010, its cray.

Yeah, the base game is still full price but the bundle with dlc is $22.50 and has gone on sale for lower. Of course, finding the bundle on the new store is not easy.

But yeah, I'd buy a lot more of the older psp games if they put them on sale for 75%. Right now I limit buying games on psp to ones I'm going to play soon instead of adding to my backlog.

Thanks. Quite a list when you see it all together. And it's still only been 6 months! And now with free Vita games.

Is this the best thing Sony have ever done?

Time to bring out the SCEA-sucks Brigade again :)

seriously, they really should lower the price on ps1 and psp games. just make them dirty cheap, i'm sure the sales would skyrocket.

Yea, I don't get this. Nobody is buying PSP or PS1 games anymore for those systems, so they should use those to leverage the Vita. Have dirt cheap games that people can buy and screw around with.

This might be a stupid question but here it goes anyways:
I recently bought the Journey Collector's Edition that came with a 30 day Playstation Plus trial. I noticed they have KOF13 for free on the PSN store. If I use my trial and get said game for free, will I still keep the game after the trial is up (I have no intentions of renewing the service) or does it work like a 'rental' and I'll lose the game after 30 days?

You wont be able to play the game until you renew again but you can redownload it whenever you want.

So I recently got one of the 30 day PS+ trials from a Sony EU facebook promotion...

...aaaand, VF5 Final Showdown is gone. :( Now I'm just using it to play games which I'm not even interested in (tried Scott Pilgrim and Cubixx so far, downloading Crysis 2 and Little Big Planet 2 now)

I might be without Internet for a month or two. Will I be able to still play my Plus content?
As long as the license says the content won't expire while you're offline.

Also you will miss any new content if you can't be online to confirm a license by adding to cart and checking out.

Yes. As long as you make sure the game licenses are not going to expire. That is, for each game. If you have renewed your PS+, a game you have not played since renewing may be expired and will need to be booted up once when online.

You should get someone to log into your PS+ account in order to add the new content to your download list. That's of course assuming you have an activation available.

Blog post is up for this weeks NA update.

There's also a SEGA sale and a Music Unlimited discount:

That's a pretty sweet deal for Music Unlimited. I don't care for it because it doesn't have the music I listen to (not trying to be a hipster, my collection is 95% anime and game soundtracks), but I think most people would like it... assuming they don't already have a superior music service.

Actually, the only reason I recommend it is because I read you can use it for custom soundtracks on the Vita. And you can pin songs so you don't need to always stream them.

Subscribed to Music Unlimited for well over a year and only stopped due to lack of funds. Used it mainly on my PC and on my Android phone, and really liked it. Plenty of good songs, playlists, easy to use, and offline listening

$12 is a bargain, really. Only slightly more expensive than one month subscription

One thing though. If you purchase the one year Music Unlimited sub, remember to turn off autorenewal so you don't forget about it and re-subscribe next year without wanting to

You can always turn it back on again down the line if you decide you want it to carry on.

I signed up for the month trial and forgot the renewal until it told me I had £9.99 taken from my wallet, £12 is a bargain though. Fortunately I have Deezer on my mobile now which I get free with my mobile contract else if this came to the EU I would be all over it for that price.

Holy shit at those free Vita games... some of those were the only reason I'd get a Vita anyways. I thought they'd give like Trash Panic for free or some other crap.

That Music Unlimited deal seems like a no-brainer. Is there some kind of catch I should know about?

The two killers for me are you can't upload your own music, and it's terrible for music discovery. If you know what you want to listen to, and what you want to listen to are albums from major music labels, it's probably pretty nice.

Weird, just logged into the Music Unlimited site (first time, don't think I ever launched it from the PS3) and when I check the subscription options it tells me:

You already have a subscription.
There are no plans available for you to purchase at this time.

UK, not sure if that matters.

It's not that bad for discovery. Recommends artists from the same genres you listen to most and stuff.

I'll give Dungeon Defenders a shot, I already got both Sonic games for free with Plus a while ago, so it's kind of disappointing to see them pop up again.

Recently acquired a PSV. Very excited for tomorrow's update, if only because my Uncharted is still sealed and I could trade/sell it. :)

Turn off auto renewal if you don't plan to sub for long.

Thanks, will do.

I actually prefer to own my music, but there's lots of stuff I like that is expensive, and doesn't get listened to that often. If their selection operas is decent, it could save me a bunch of money. They are often $25 or $30 on Amazon, which makes buying multiple recordings of the same opera an expensive proposition.

Just in time when I'm getting sick of the increased ads in Pandora.
Is the iOS app any good, does it do the basics like continuing playback when the screen is turned off (unlike the stupid youtube app lol)

Does on Android, so i assume it does on iOS.

In for a Music Unlimited subscription. That is a steal for a really great service.

Sony should think about a PS+ deal for movie rentals. Wouldn't mind being able to rent at a small discount.
