A whole lot of people were following it immediately after the election. LOL what were you doing? Living real life or something..hahahha!!!!!

I understand what you mean, but Kid or no kid. They are shouting in public inflammatory things, wearing their school uniform. Shouting out to their school on their tweet/facebook. There was no secret investigation here... anonymous didn't break this. This is you clicking a tweet, and reading.

And still, its bigotry and racism. Thats generally zero tolerance.

I thought this crap got a person arrested and investigated?

Thanks for posting this.

Was it as bad as this when Obama was elected for his presidential term?

And people who are have an issue with the tumblr page can get fucked. These public acts enabled by freedom of speech does not mean that these individuals are beyond public reproach.

I'm honestly shocked by the lack of empathy, sensibility or reason.

Apparently anything is fair game these days. It's sickening. I'd love to hear what people have to say should they ever be treated this way publicly or should something like this ever happen to their children. It's a shame publicly ridiculing people is not regarded as something one shouldn't (in general) do.

the world is getting classier and classier bro.

I have no empathy for racists.

I have no qualms about racists being publicly identified. You have every right to say what you want and others have every right to publicly identify you using perfecty legal means via publicly available information.

Tough shit to racists.

Give me a break. There's a reason there are laws that define the differences in responsibility between children and adults. Children are known for being naive, impulsive, irresponsible and lack an understanding of the consequences of their actions or words. Surely, you can understand why a 14 year old may regret his words or actions later in life, after maturing and understanding the world better.

Break denied. None of these laws have anything to do with this thread, or the internet, or reality.Teenagers are charged for hate crimes as well. Kids said stupid shit online with their public information beneath them.

I'm so confused..

Is racism ok all of a sudden? Or does it still get you fired & kicked out of school, possibly arrested and reprimanded?

Yolo?

Edit:
I'm sure many of us have said or done stupid things in their life. Imagine if someone recorded or taped these things and put them up on a special website, potentially (completely) out of context, maybe even without you knowing or having any chance to set things right.

Calling the President a nigger and threatening to murder/lynch him really isn't out of context.

why are we imagining a scenario completely at odds with what's actually happening on this tumblr?

I have no empathy for racists.

When I am talking about the kids name's being posted not being cool I don't even consider the racism relevant. The reason I'm against this is basically cause I've seen something similar to this happen in my school

Last year one kid posted something on Facebook about a kid from a different school

Two days later that kid burst into our school with three of his friends, all of them armed with knives to try and kill the kid that made the comment.

As a result of a silly comment all the kids in the school were put in danger.

This is my problem

The racism stuff is neither here nor there

I'm saddened that so many of the people on display are young people. However, that's where my empathy ends. If you post information about yourself on the internet, you run the risk of it being on public display should you not keep it under lock and key. All the blog is doing is collecting all of the *publicly available information* and making it easier for people to see it.

I have little empathy for people who regard me as less than human because of the color of my skin.

There's doing stupid stuff, then there is doing racist stuff. I feel bad for the kids yes, but that doesn't make the shit their saying ok. Sure I've done dumb shit, but I've never said or done racist shit.

Racism is most definitely a factor here. If they weren't being racists I would somewhat care that this public information was made more easily accessible.

smh

Racism is not okay, but neither is attempting to target and prey on children for stupid shit they said as... well children. If they want to expose the adults, sure, but I tend to draw the line on attempting to target and attack 13 and 15 year olds who have plenty of time left to grow, learn, mature, and change.

Prost was saying that kids are dumb and that saying stupid shit like this is something that you can grow out out. He was using the age split for laws as an example of how kids are dumb.

Though he probably should have quoted this post of yours to clarify that

Racism isn't a fucking stage you grow out of, or just go through, the hell is up with this mentality?

If you want to shame people for what they say fine. Post an image of their tweet etc. and that's it. This goes above and beyond. Its advertising where these people live and go daily. Its promoting some fucked up person to go vigilante out of some twisted sense of moral superiority.

People have a freedom of speech. Yes, they might use that freedom for awful things, but it's still their right. We shouldn't be attacking people for exercising their right to free speech. Just ignore it, and if they have no audience to speak to, they'll shut up.

To be fair, the person making this tumblr has this protected under freedom of speech too.

Moral of the story: You should really put your social network profiles on private before you start talking about assassinating the president.

Please continue governor.

in an interview posted back during the first run at president he talked about his grandmother who is white would walk across the street to avoid black people .

His white grandmother who raised him a black man because his parents weren't there to do so.

Fuck these racist shits. Especially the scum that thrive on the attention and racism. I'm glad a page like this exists. You want freedom of speech? You also have to take responsibility for it.

I didn't see anything in the "Why" section about asking people to go up to the people on display and go vigilante on them. And the only reason why this information is on display is because the people themselves put it up publicly. If anything, it serves a lesson on keeping your personal information private, and not saying outrageously stupid shit on social media.

Him recounting what his grandmother did makes him scum?

Don't put stupid shit on the internet that you wouldn't want to get out to the general public or potential employers, ESPECIALLY not when your name and face is attached to it. Tough lesson to learn, but that's life.

It wasn't an interview, he actually brought that up in a very thoughtful speech about race relations in the United States which I presume you've never seen or read in its entirety.

I'm 14, and I'm not foolish enough to say stupid things under a profile that has my picture, name, and where I live.

in an interview posted back during the first run at president he talked about his grandmother who is white would walk across the street to avoid black people .

His white grandmother who raised him a black man because his parents weren't there to do so.

He then went on to say...

"... .. The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn't. But she is a typical white person who, uh, if she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know there's a reaction that's been been bred into our experiences that don't go away and that sometimes come out in the wrong way and that's just the nature of race in our society. We have to break through it..." - Senator Barack Obama

Typical eastmen post, leaving out any facts that don't suit your agenda.

So are you implying he made that up?

Fuck your head.

Racism is not ok. Correct. You are right it isn't. It is disgusting, its not just something that they said out of this child like curiosity. No, they said "Get that nigger out of office!"

No one has targeted children to prey on them for stupid shit they said as children(AKA teenagers)

And again, there is no exposure. Its public information. Keep pretending theres some sort of issue with some hacker breaching their account, and not seeing their school in their information publicly posted.

Then don't publicly talk about harming our nations president and his family then. You reap what you sow.

Well if that's what she did, wtf you expect him to say.
