It's entirely possible he just doesn't notice it, like many many others.

Same with FPS and tearing. Some people can't play a game unless its locked 30 or 60, others don't give a shit.

Yeah, I also dont think everyone cares. I mean I noticed it, but most of the time I still had a great time with the game so far without giving it a second thought. It is an issue, but not the HUGE issue some made it out to be. I still think its a bit unfortunate for the soundtrack though, some songs are really good.

FUCK. PSRS trial code won't work. Looks like I'll have to *sigh* get a year code and possibly give the trial code away.

:/

Yeah i don't notice any of these things. It's awesome :)

I noticed the audio issues as soon as I started the game, but it's not something you can't get used to hearing. Stopped bothering me after a bit.

There's a $5 discount
off the $50 MSRP :(

Yikes. I supposed it's technically the cheapest, but this venture into the world of Technicka is gonna be pretty pricey.

I never use to hear the difference but after using my c5s for almost a year, going back to anything else is just horrible. Sound quality on most stuff is awful

I don't even know what a c5s is :D

I just renewed my PS+ sub with money i got for my birthday. Was going to run out in 2 weeks. Good times.

Just gave Elminage another look, which apparently also releases next week (PSP). Depending on the price, I could see me snagging that up too.

I definitely wont be able play through all the games I own on Vita after next week until 2014, but who caaaares.

Edit: Oh yeah, trailer:

I invested in a pair of $300 Etymotic ER4 about six years ago and it was one of the best investments I have ever made. The audio quality never ceases to amaze me and they block out outside noise really well, perfect for the daily commute. Most portable devices are a bit underpowered for them though, including the Vita, so I use them with a Sansa Fuze.

The official Vita earphones are surprisingly good sounding for the price though, so that's what I'm using for that.

I use some blue Playstation branded earphones that came with the European preorder pack. Use them for listening to music too (on the rare occasion i listen to music)

Tried to use in ear once, I HATE the feeling of something being inside my ear. Still think good shell headphones are perfectly fine.

you get used to it after a week or two, but I know the initial feeling D:

For a while I thought it was the worst thing ever

Oh god those headphones suck carl you need to get a decent pair of headphones, screw earphones

I use some relatively cheap in-ear Sennheisers, they sound perfectly good to me on the Vita, sure is a hell of a lot better than the Vita speakers. I only get cheap ones because I'm not an audiophile and if I have them in my iPod, I fall asleep listening to podcasts and they break after about 10 months because they get stretched and bent in bed :(

Everyone forgets DJMax, its alright I forgive you.

There are some more games coming, although they are ports, like Sine Mora, Let's Fish: Hooked On! (not a port), there's also that Atelier Totori port... there's a good amount of stuff to look forward to next year as well, Killzone Mercenary, Tearaway, Dragon's Crown, Muramasa Vita, etc etc.

I use this headphone, it sounds great imo, although honestly, it didn't get used much because it's pretty big and heavy so I don't bring it to me wherever I go. use it at home sometimes when I need to be quiet.

what's a good vita game with great audio that warrant a headphone use? DJ Max Technika?

Definitely Sound Shapes.

While we are talking about what headphones we use to make our games sound sexy, I recommended Meelectronics A161p. Although they are pricey at around $100.

Amazing sounding IEMs, which is awesome because you then don't have to wear giant headphones wherever you go. Soundshapes really was a pleasure to play with these on. I really hope DJMAX has above average sound quality so I can get the most out of these..

The death mode levels on Sound Shapes are amazing. Should be intensely frustrating, but I'm struggling to put it down! Love that the trophies are almost all tied into this mode. ^_^

Just FYI everyone: I just got a call from my local EB Games/Gamestop, and apparently PS All-Stars Battle Royale is on sale tomorrow, not Tuesday. So if you feel like fighting the Wii U hordes, you can start tomorrow (assuming your area hasn't already broken street date).

Sony allowed them or will your store break the street date?

You need better earphones obviously :p

Or better ears!

Should have been more clear on this. They indeed sell small figurines, but aren sack boys as adorable as they are because they are made of ...sack? My niece can't cuddle with a plastic figurine. There was a hobby seller that made "real" sack boys though. I'll post it when I find it again.

Oh, just noticed its not the same link. There are plushies! Thanks for the link! :) The last time I checked through Amazon I only found the plastic figurines in Germany at least.

There's definitely a plushy in the link I posted. :P
